So, it represents a significant step forward in their product lineup.
Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI review: evaluation and performance
Now, it’s time to dive deeper into Samsung’s latest flagship model’s real-world performance. For our Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI review, we put it through various evaluations to see how it does in everyday scenarios—and it did really well, excelling in various key areas.
Debris pick up
The robot vacuum mop combo did exceptionally well picking up debris of various shapes and sizes on hard floors and carpets. It uses a single side brush and a main brush housed in a floating brush system to sweep up debris, where it achieved impressive results in our evaluations. It performed as well as, if not better than, the average in this category across both surface types.
Power
Regarding power, the Bespoke Jet Bot AI Combo delivers a respectable performance. Its suction power was slightly above average in our evaluations.
However, other power metrics, such as airflow, crevice cleaning, and deep carpet cleaning, were closer to the industry average. So, it may not be the most powerful option available. But it certainly holds its own, offering solid and reliable performance overall.
Mopping
A standout feature of this robot vacuum is its mopping system and the all-in-one cleaning station, considering that it’s the first Samsung robot vacuum to include such capabilities. It uses two spinning mop pads that automatically lift when they detect carpets, preventing them from getting wet.
Plus, thanks to a clever magnetic system, you can leave the mop pads in the dock.
This allows the robot to perform a carpet vacuuming run first, return to the dock to attach the mop pads and proceed with hard floor vacuuming and mopping. It’s a flexible approach that maximizes efficiency and ensures carpets remain dry.
“when all factors are considered, the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI ranks 13th overall on Vacuum Wars’ Top Robot Vacuums list, which is very good considering we’ve reviewed over 100 robot vacuums. “

Mopping evaluation
In our real-world mopping evaluation using dried-on coffee stains, the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot AI performed exceptionally well, removing the stain in a single pass. This impressive result suggests it should handle the most common stains on hard floors without any trouble.
However, it required a few extra passes to completely clear the stains during more challenging evaluations, such as dried-on grape juice and coffee in a confined 4×4 area. These issues seemed to stem from mop pad saturation and the small evaluation area. But despite these challenges, the robot’s strong performance in real-world scenarios justifies a positive evaluation in this category.
Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI robot vacuum features
All-In-One Station
The All-In-One station is a self-emptying station that automatically transfers debris from the robot’s dustbin into a disposable bag, but its capabilities go far beyond that. It also washes the mop pads with hot water, dries them with hot air, refills the onboard mop tank, and empties dirty water into a separate tank.
Notably, it’s the first auto-dock we’ve seen using steam to sanitize the mop pads, offering a more sanitary solution than its competitors. The station also features a removable tray, making it easy to clean and maintain over time.
Obstacle avoidance
Another standout feature of the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI is its exceptional obstacle avoidance. Using a front-mounted camera and 3D sensors, the Jet Bot AI can detect and avoid objects that are too low or too light for traditional sensors.
Remarkably, Samsung has continued its legacy of superior obstacle avoidance, first established with the Jet Bot AI Plus. In recent evaluations, the Jet Bot AI Combo tied for first place, achieving a rare perfect score, and its performance demonstrated a clear edge over other models evaluated.
“Samsung’s superior obstacle avoidance system makes it an excellent choice for homes with a lot of clutter. If obstacle avoidance is your main concern, this model delivers reliability and precision.”
Vacuum Wars
It’s also the only robot vacuum we’ve seen that prompts users to calibrate its sensors before use, and the app offers extensive customization options to fine-tune the obstacle avoidance system—allowing for a more personalized cleaning experience.
In addition, many manufacturers claim their robots can recognize stains and give them extra attention during mopping, but Samsung is among the few that actually deliver on that promise. And while the feature is still in beta and requires users to opt in through the app, it shows Samsung’s commitment to innovation in this space.
Battery life
As for battery efficiency, the Jet Bot Combo AI offers above-average battery life, particularly in its low-power setting.
Our battery efficiency evaluation, where the robot vacuum was run on all power settings across a fixed floor plan, also demonstrated slightly above-average efficiency.
Navigation
Navigation is another strong point for the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI. Equipped with a LiDAR sensor on top, it quickly maps and navigates floor plans with impressive speed, completing the mapping process in about 5 minutes.
During our evaluation, it executed a perfect run on the first attempt, covering the entire area without missing any spots. Its coverage is generally thorough—perhaps even a bit too thorough, but that will be discussed further in the cons section. Overall, its navigation capabilities are reliable and efficient.
App
As expected from Samsung, the app is user-friendly and packed with features typically found in high-end robot vacuums. These include virtual barriers, multi-level mapping, adjustable mopping water levels, mop pad behavior customization, and docking frequency settings. The app even includes a built-in virtual assistant for added convenience.
Beyond the basics, it also offers advanced camera-related features, such as the ability to make video calls with pets. You can also program the robot to automatically locate your pets or greet your kids when they return home from school. These thoughtful, innovative options add a unique layer of functionality, making the app a valuable tool for enhancing the overall user experience.
Cons of the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot AI
This Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI review won’t be complete without covering potential drawbacks. Despite its advanced technology and thoughtful design, there are a few areas where it falls short compared to its competitors.
Lacking some features
While the robot vacuum mop combo is packed with features, it does miss out on a few that are becoming increasingly common in its price range. Notably, it lacks mop pads or side brushes that extend for better corner and edge cleaning. These are features found in some of its flagship competitors. Their absence may impact the robot’s effectiveness in reaching tight spaces and corners, which could be a consideration for those with more intricate floor plans.
No dirty water sensor
Another potential drawback is the absence of a dirty water sensor in the cleaning station. This sensor could help determine if the mop pads require additional washing based on the water’s dirtiness. While you can manually adjust the wash frequency for dirtier floors, the lack of automatic detection is a missed opportunity for added convenience and efficiency. This is especially true for a high-end model like this.
Hair tangles
Like most robot vacuums, the Jet Bot Combo AI struggles with hair tangling in its roller. However, its roller design seems to require extra attention, especially when dealing with hair longer than 7 inches. This means more frequent maintenance may be needed to keep the vacuum operating smoothly, which could be a downside for households with long-haired pets or residents.
Navigation
One other drawback we observed with this robot vacuum is its navigation efficiency, particularly during mopping. The robot tends to be overly thorough in its coverage, taking longer to clean the floor plan than many competitors. This behavior persists across different drive settings and mop configurations, whether the mop is left on or lifted.
While this isn’t a major issue, it could lead to longer cleaning times, potentially requiring using the robot’s recharge and resume feature for larger floor plans.
Price
Samsung’s Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI is undeniably expensive, which might be a significant con for some users. However, it’s worth noting that, despite its high cost, it is slightly less expensive than its two main competitors—making it a more budget-friendly option among premium models. Nonetheless, the overall price tag remains a consideration for those weighing its value against other available features and alternatives.
Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot AI robot vacuum: value and recommendation
When considering the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI, the key question is whether its unique features justify choosing it over other flagship models from brands like Roborock, Dreame, or Ecovacs.
On one hand, Samsung’s superior obstacle avoidance system makes it an excellent choice for homes with a lot of clutter. If obstacle avoidance is your main concern, this model delivers reliability and precision. As such, the absence of some features like extending side brushes or extending mop pads might not be a dealbreaker, especially given its comparable cleaning performance to other high-end models.
On the other hand, when all factors are considered, the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI ranks 13th overall on Vacuum Wars’ Top Robot Vacuums list, which is very good considering we’ve reviewed over 100 robot vacuums.
