Through in-depth, independent testing, we focus on cleaning performance and the innovative features that have made Dyson a household name. In fact, we’ve purchased and tested virtually every Dyson cordless model from the V7 onward, so we know exactly how each stacks up in terms of suction power, battery life, and overall value. Whether you’re eyeing Dyson’s latest flagship or a mid-range model for better value, this list highlights the standouts across the lineup. See the Guide
The V8 has been updated by Dyson several times since the original arrived in 2016. Some versions were more of a refresh than a new vacuum, but the V8 Cyclone feels different. In this review we cover its pros, cons, and features, including why this may be the best V8 cordless stick vacuum yet.
We bought the Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene and put it through our independent studio evaluations. It is a major improvement over the Wash G1, but its small tanks and below-average mopping score hold it back.
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine is Dyson’s new flagship cordless vacuum, adding a redesigned All Floor Cones cleaner head, strong carpet and hard floor performance, sealed HEPA filtration, long battery life, and the Submarine wet-cleaning head. After our independent studio evaluations, it earned the top spot in our cordless vacuum rankings.
Dyson recently introduced the V9 as a new entry in its cordless lineup, slotting it between the V8 and the V11 in terms of both price and features. It adopts the in-line body style Dyson popularized with the V10 and V11, comes in lighter than the V8, and is currently selling for significantly less than its original list price. In this review, we’ll cover the strengths and weaknesses of the Dyson V9 Motorbar and see how it stacks up against other cordless vacuums we’ve tested.
The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI is Dyson’s first true all-in-one robot vacuum, adding mopping, AI obstacle avoidance, and a bagless auto-empty dock. In our testing, it impressed with top-tier obstacle avoidance and excellent bin performance, especially for pet hair. Here’s how it performed in our tests.
We tested the Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones—Dyson’s slimmest and lightest vacuum yet. With a 38mm design, dual lasers, and a unique Fluffycones head, it’s built for hard floor agility. But with limited carpet performance, short battery life, and a very small dustbin, is it worth over $500? Here’s what you need to know.
