Eureka Launches J15 Pro Ultra Robot Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Base Station

Eureka has released its newest flagship robot vacuum and mop combo, the J15 Pro Ultra, now available on Amazon. First previewed at IFA 2024 in Berlin, the device introduces several advanced features aimed at enhancing automated home cleaning.

The Eureka J15 Pro Ultra stands out as a real contender, boasting advanced features that deliver superior cleaning performance compared to its older sibling, the J20. Its anti hair-tangle technology actively cuts hair from the roller—proving exceptionally effective in our hair tangle tests—and it excels in picking up both flattened and deeply embedded debris from carpets. Equipped with a front-mounted camera and structured light, the J15 ensures reliable obstacle avoidance, while its sophisticated charging dock not only washes and dries the mop pads using hot water but also features a self-cleaning mop station. Additionally, the J15’s mopping system—including an automatically extending mop pad and carpet-detection technology that lifts the mop pads—combined with above-average battery efficiency and a feature-rich app, clearly positions it as the flagship model and a top pick among robot vacuums. New Base Station Automation

A standout feature of the J15 Pro Ultra is its 8-in-1 multifunctional base station. This station automates tasks such as debris emptying, water refilling, hot water mop washing, and drying. After the robot completes a mopping session, the mop pads are washed with hot water at 75°C (167°F) and dried with heated air at 55°C (131°F), which helps reduce mold and mildew. The base station also handles battery charging and self-cleaning, aiming to provide a hassle-free cleaning experience for up to 75 days without user intervention.

High Suction Power and Hair Management

The robot vacuum delivers up to 16,200 Pa suction through an advanced aluminum fan, designed to boost motor performance and improve heat dissipation. This high suction aims to remove up to 99% of debris across various floor types, including carpets and hard-to-reach crevices. Additionally, the J15 Pro Ultra features FlexiRazor anti-hair tangling technology. The brush roll actively cuts hair at a rate of 400 cuts per minute, which is intended to reduce hair wrapping by up to 99%.

Edge-to-Edge Cleaning with Flex-Arm Design

The device incorporates a rounded-square body and a flex-arm design that extends cleaning reach to tight spots and corners. It is capable of vacuuming and mopping closer to edges. The robot can cover floors less than 1.36 mm along the edge for more precise cleaning.

Intelligent Dirt Detection and AI-Powered Adjustments

The J15 Pro Ultra uses intelligent dirt detection to accurately identify dry and wet messes. When it encounters wet messes, the robot rotates its body to prioritize cleaning with the mop. For dry debris, it automatically reduces the side brush speed to minimize the spread of debris and enhance deep cleaning. The vacuum also features a Smart Clean mode that assesses room types and flooring materials to optimize its cleaning strategy.
