Smoture: A Brand on the Rise
Smoture is quickly becoming a brand to watch. Earlier this year, we evaluated their earlier model, the VAC01, and it earned the highest score we’d ever given to a cordless vacuum in its price range. The VAC02 cordless stick vacuum improves on its predecessor in nearly every measurable way, offering some of the best suction, battery performance, and cleaning scores we’ve seen—budget or otherwise. At the time of this writing, the Smoture VAC02 holds the #17 spot on our Top 20 Best Cordless Vacuums list. That’s remarkable for a vacuum at this price level!
High-End Performance on a Budget
The Smoture VAC02 delivered one of the most impressive sealed suction scores we’ve seen, reaching 116 inches of water lift. That’s more than twice the Tikom V500’s 50 inches and well above the category average of 74 inches.
Its raw pickup performance was equally strong, earning a score of 30 on our scale, compared to the average score of 26.4.
Perhaps most notable was its carpet deep clean performance. In our Carpet Deep Clean evaluation, the Smoture VAC02 picked up 98% of embedded sand—outperforming the Tikom V500 at 89% and even exceeding the cordless vacuum average of 93%. The Smoture also delivered excellent battery performance. On low power, it achieved its official runtime of 60 minutes—far better than the average of 44 minutes and significantly longer than the 32 minutes of the Tikom V500.
Its battery score of 26.67 was above the cordless average of 22.14, and although its battery efficiency score came in slightly below average at 17.67 (versus the average of 18.8), the strong runtime and power output make the trade-off more than acceptable.
