Eufy Omni C20 Robot Vacuum Review: Flagship Features at a Mid-Tier Price

Eufy’s Omni C20 aims to bring high‑end convenience to the lower‑middle price tier. Positioned by Eufy to be above the vacuum‑only C10 but below flagship models, it ships with an “all‑in‑one” dock that can empty, wash and dry pads, and refill the clean‑water tank. We purchased one for ourselves, and after several weeks of hands‑on testing, here’s our review of the Eufy Omni C20.

Eufy Omni C20 Robot Vacuum at the Vacuum Wars studio

The Eufy Omni C20 offers a comprehensive yet budget-friendly cleaning solution, featuring an all-in-one station for auto-emptying, mop washing, and drying. Its room-temperature drying mechanism and transparent water tanks simplify maintenance by allowing easy monitoring of water levels. Standing at just 3.35 inches high, it accesses tight areas under desks and beds, while Mop Master Technology—spinning at 180 rotations per minute with 6N of pressure—effectively tackles stubborn stains. The Pro-Detangle Comb complements the reverse-spinning roller brush to remove trapped hair, helping the C20 maintain consistent performance with minimal upkeep. See additional info

Eufy Omni C20 Basics

Eufy positions the C20 as a step up from the other member in the C-series lineup, the C10. While the C10 is a vacuum-only model, the C20 is a vacuum‑and‑mop combo. Its dock automates emptying the robot’s dustbin, washing mop pads with cool water and drying them with room-temperature air, and refilling the robot’s water tank. The C20 is currently available only in black and is priced at the lower‑middle range.

Eufy Omni C20 Pros

The Omni C20 stands at 3.35 inches, which is about half an inch shorter than typical robot vacuums. This increases its access to space under low-lying furniture.

It also has a fixed side brush to send debris into the main brush while sweeping, which is standard for robots of this type. It has an official suction power of 7,000Pa.

Eufy Omni C20 Mopping

The C20’s dual spinning mop pads rotate at 180 RPM and press down with roughly 6 N of force. Because the pads lift automatically when the robot detects carpet, the bot can vacuum and mop in a single pass.

In our dried‑stain test it scored 105 points (category average 93), an impressive above-average score for a robot in this price range.

We also test for how much water a robot leaves behind, as too much water can often lead to streaked floors. The C20 left behind half as much water as the typical robot in our water residue test, which was a really great score.

Those numbers combine for a mopping score of 227‑points, well above the 171‑point average.

Dock Automation

The multifunctional dock reliably emptied debris into a 3‑liter bag and cleaned and dried the pads. A removable tray made dock-cleaning easier.

Pet‑Hair Handling

In our flattened hair test, where we press 2.5 inch hair onto medium‑pile carpet to mimic real-world conditions, the C20 lifted 96 % of the strands, which was notably above the 81 % average. Its anti-tangle system left much to be desired, as we will discuss in the cons. While the C20 performed well with pet hair, the detangle main brush did not impress with the 7 inch hair test (see more in the cons).

App Features

Eufy’s companion app delivers multi‑floor mapping, room‑specific settings, virtual no‑go/no‑mop zones, scheduling, and a dock menu for pad‑wash frequency. Power users may miss granular controls or “mop‑with‑the‑grain” settings found in pricier brands, but the fundamentals are there.

Average Performance

Average Airflow and Deep‑Carpet Performance

Suction measured slightly above average, but airflow was about 25 % below average.

In our carpet deep-clean test, where we embed sand and grit into medium pile carpet, the C20 extracted 75 %, matching the 75.4 % average.

Navigation on the C20 was squarely middle-of-the-road. It relies on an internal laser sensors instead of a top-mounted LiDAR (which is the reason it is able to keep a low profile) to map the home and travels in fairly straight lines. In our navigation-and-coverage evaluations its speed and area covered landed right at the category average.

Eufy Omni C20 Cons

Frequent Dock Visits

The 250 mL dust‑bin is on the smaller side, which means frequent returns to the dock for emptying.

The Eufy Omni C20 has an onboard dustbin with a 250ml capacity

As far as battery goes, the robot covers only about half the square footage per charge of the average bot, which is one of our lower scores on record.

Recharge‑and‑resume helps, but single‑pass coverage is limited. Between the small dustbin and low battery efficiency, users can expect the robot to make more visits to the dock than some other robots.

Battery MetricEufy C20Category Average
Estimated Square Feet / Charge525 ft²1 015 ft²
Battery Score1.222.27

Crevice pickup lagged, only scoring 25% of the average crevice pickup score. This is not a deal breaker for most use cases, but it’s something to note.

Long‑Hair Tangles

While short pet hair wasn’t an issue, the 7‑inch strands wrapped around the brush at a rate of 54 %, much worse than the 38 % average. This can be an issue in households with very long-haired pets (and humans).

No Obstacle Avoidance

The C20 navigates with LiDAR and IR sensors but lacks front‑facing cameras or structured‑light modules. Cables and toys should be cleared before each run to avoid robot-rescues.

Verdict

With a current Vacuum Wars score of 3.1, the Eufy Omni C20 ranks 46th as of this writing. Outside of the Top 20, but high for its price range. It does offer excellent mopping, and it’s one of the cheapest mop-washing robots we have tested.

It’s quality mopping ability makes it a decent choice for a user with mostly hard floors and low hair maintenance needs. If you aren’t concerned about long hair, and you’re okay tidying clutter beforehand, the C20 delivers a fair value.

The Eufy Omni C20 has a final Vacuum Wars score of 3.09 (above the average of 2.8)

Shoppers who need obstacle avoidance, deeper carpet cleaning, or long‑hair management should consider models higher on our Top 20 Robot Vacuums list. For budget-friendly models, you can also check out our Best Under $600 list or our Best Under $400 list.

Is the Eufy Omni C20 self-emptying?

Yes. The bundled “all-in-one” dock automatically empties the robot’s dustbin into a 3-liter disposable bag. It also washes and air-dries the mop pads.

Can the Eufy C20 vacuum and mop carpets in one run?

It can vacuum and mop mixed floors in a single pass because the spinning mop pads lift when carpet is detected, keeping rugs dry.

Does the Eufy Omni C20 have obstacle avoidance sensors?

No. Navigation relies on LiDAR and IR sensors only, so you’ll need to remove cables and toys to prevent stoppages.

How well does the Eufy C20 handle pet hair?

In Vacuum Wars tests the C20 removed 96 % of flattened pet hair from carpet, well above average, but long 7-inch strands still wrapped on the brush.

What features are available in the Eufy companion app?

You get multi-floor mapping, no-go/no-mop zones, room-level scheduling, and dock-cleaning controls; advanced options like live video monitoring or detergent dispensing are not included.
