ECOVACS has unveiled the DEEBOT X2 COMBO at CES 2024, focusing on comprehensive home maintenance. Building on the foundation of the acclaimed X2 OMNI, this release signifies an attempt to integrate various aspects of home cleaning into a single device.

The DEEBOT X2 COMBO is essentially an upgraded version of its predecessor combined with a handheld vacuum and an integrated base station for dual dust collection, recharging, mop water, and mop pad cleaning and drying. The idea is to provide an all-in-one experience for home cleaning and a hands-free maintenance experience.  It’s also the first DEEBOT that’s Matter-ready, hinting at improved integration with smart home ecosystems.

With the DEEBOT X2 COMBO, ECOVACS is attempting to push the boundaries of robotic home cleaning. The integration of a handheld vacuum with the robotic cleaner and the promise of an all-in-one base station for both indicate a move towards more comprehensive and autonomous cleaning solutions.
