Eufy Expands Its Flagship Line With the OMNI S2 Robot Vacuum and a New Roller Mop System

Eufy has released the OMNI S2, a next-generation robot vacuum designed to expand the brand’s premium smart cleaning lineup. The new model combines an extending mop roller and side brush design, a self-cleaning mopping system, and a fully automated base station—features increasingly associated with high-end autonomous cleaners.

The Eufy Omni S2 is a flagship robot vacuum and mop combo designed to deliver powerful automated cleaning with upgraded hardware and AI navigation. It features AeroTurbo 2.0 suction rated up to 30,000 Pa with multi-cyclone airflow for longer-lasting suction, an extending side brush for improved corner cleaning, and detangle brush technology designed to reduce hair wrap. For mopping, the HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop spins at high speed, applies roughly 15 N of downward pressure, continuously washes itself with clean water, and extends toward edges while lifting to avoid carpets. Navigation is powered by CleanMind AI with 3D MatrixEye 2.0 vision and ToF sensors, enabling 3D mapping, detection of 200+ obstacles, and adaptive cleaning based on room type and mess detection. The robot can cross thresholds up to 42 mm and automatically adjust for carpets up to about 2 in thick. It pairs with a UniClean automated dock that empties debris, washes the mop with hot water, dries it with hot air, refills water, and recharges the battery, while also producing disinfecting electrolyzed water and offering a built-in aromatherapy system with multiple scents. The Omni S2 also appears aimed at addressing several user concerns seen with its predecessor, including weak carpet performance, difficulty navigating thick rugs, and hair tangling on the main brush. The redesigned brush system, higher suction rating, and chassis-lifting capability are intended to improve cleaning on carpets and prevent the robot from getting stuck on plush rugs.
