Intelligent Cleaning with Detect Technologies
The Detect Pro Lift-Away ADV is equipped with a combination of DuoClean Detect and multiple sensor technologies that respond in real-time to cleaning conditions:
- DuoClean Detect features a two-brushroll system and four integrated sensors that identify hidden dirt, debris, and hair. The vacuum automatically adjusts suction and brushroll speed to improve pickup on both hard floors and carpets.
- Direction Detect enables the vacuum to clean effectively in both forward and reverse passes, helping reduce the need for multiple sweeps over the same area.
- Edge Detect boosts suction when operating within two inches of a wall or edge, enhancing performance along baseboards and in corners.
- Floor Detect uses an ultrasonic sensor to identify floor types and dynamically adjust suction and brushroll speed to suit surfaces ranging from hardwood to high-pile carpet.
- Dirt Detect increases cleaning intensity when embedded debris is sensed, especially in dense carpeted areas.
Lift-Away Design and Accessories
The Lift-Away ADV format allows users to detach the pod from the main unit, providing greater flexibility for above-floor cleaning, stairs, and hard-to-reach areas. The vacuum comes with a variety of attachments designed for tackling tough messes and different cleaning scenarios.
Self Cleaning Brushroll
The brushroll is engineered to actively remove hair from itself while the vacuum is in use. By continuously clearing hair during operation, the self-cleaning brushroll helps maintain consistent cleaning power and reduces the need for manual cleaning.
Allergen Filtration
The vacuum features Shark’s Anti-Allergen Complete Seal system, working in tandem with a HEPA filter to trap 99.99% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum. This is based on ASTM F1977 tests on particles 0.3 microns or larger, ensuring cleaner air as you clean your floors.
