Yeedi is a company founded by the robot vacuum giant Ecovacs, so it tends to offer products similar to Ecovacs’s, but at lower prices. And the Yeedi M14 Plus is a good example of this. It’s a robot vacuum mop combo with a multi-functional dock and the lowest price we’ve seen yet for a robot with all its specs and features. So, we bought one for ourselves and put it through various evaluations over several weeks. In our Yeedi M14 Plus review, we’ll go over the pros and cons to see if it’s worth getting and whether it makes the Vacuum Wars Top 20.
Vacuum Wars tests robot vacuums using a rigorous 100+ point inspection process. All products are purchased independently and reviewed without sponsorships of any kind, making our results some of the most trusted in the industry.

Yeedi M14 Plus Basics and Key Competitor
The Yeedi M14 Plus is priced about the same as the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra, which has long been our favorite budget robot vacuum pick. In this review, we’ll compare our real-world evaluation results with the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra, since they are clear competitors with very similar features.

Vacuuming Performance and Suction Power
The M14 Plus uses a 45° V-shaped bristle brush and a side brush to sweep up debris with ZeroTangle 3.0 technology. That means it has little plastic combs in the housing to help untangle hair debris from hard floors and carpets.

It performed very well at its most basic job, picking up debris in various assessments fairly easily—similar to the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra, which was also an excellent sweeper.
Where the Yeedi M14 Plus began to pull away was in some other performance metrics. We measured almost twice the suction at max power for the M14 Plus, where it measured 2.35 kPa compared to 1.08 kPa for the P10 Pro Ultra, while the average robot vacuum is around 0.72 kPa. That’s way higher than average.

The results were relatively similar for its airflow scores. It achieved 24 cfm, compared with the P10 Pro Ultra’s 20 cfm. The average score for the robot vacuums we’ve evaluated is 16.8 cfm. This raw power seemed to translate to practical performance evaluations, too.

Carpet Deep Cleaning and Pet Hair Pickup
The Yeedi M14 Plus did very well in our carpet deep clean evaluation, where we ran the robot on medium-pile carpet to assess how well it picked up embedded sand during a timed run. It picked up 87% of the sand. For comparison, the P10 Pro Ultra scored 81%, and the average robot vacuum is 77%.

That story continued with our flattened hair pickup evaluation, where we mimic pet hair and flatten it on carpet, which is notoriously hard for robot vacuums to pick up. The M14 Plus did exceptionally well here, picking up 95% of the hair. The P10 Pro Ultra picked up 82%, while the average robot vacuum got 72%.

In almost every practical vacuuming performance metric, the M14 Plus outperformed our previous value winner. It was also significantly better than the average robot vacuum at any price.
Mopping System and Roller Mop Advantages
Another pro of the M14 Plus is its mopping features and performance. It uses a roller-style mop pad system, which is becoming increasingly popular. In contrast, the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra uses a dual spinning mop pad system.

While roller-style mops aren’t always better than dual spinning mops in terms of stain removal, they do have some important advantages. Clean water sprays onto the roller as it mops, and a squeegee on the other side squeezes out dirty water and deposits it into an onboard dirty-water tank, which is later automatically emptied into the base.
That means robot vacuums with roller-style mop pads can pick up not just dried stains but also moderately wet spills because they have a place to put the water. In contrast, spinning mop pads tend to spread liquids around.
Roller-style mops also continuously refresh the mop pad with clean water, so the robot vacuum doesn’t need to return to the base as often to wash its pad. Additionally, both the M14 Plus and P10 Pro Ultra mop pads lift to prevent carpet wetting, a critical feature for homes with mixed flooring. They also have a mop pad extension to improve edge coverage along walls.

Stain Removal Scores and Water Usage
In terms of mopping ability, we found that in our older dried stain evaluation using coffee and grape juice, the Yeedi M14 Plus scored slightly better than the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra. Though both were below average. The M14 Plus achieved 79 points, and the P10 Pro Ultra got 73 points. The average robot vacuum is 112 points.
That noted, the M14 Plus used significantly less water to get that score. On its medium water setting, it left only 0.1 g of water per 4×4 area, which is one of the lowest we’ve seen. The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra left 1.05 g of water, while the average robot vacuum left 1.04 g.

We also do a newer dried coffee stain evaluation, which we ran multiple times. On the Yeedi’s medium water setting, it scored 96 points while still using just 0.1 g of water. When we increased it to the maximum water setting, it reached 101 points at 0.5 g of water. The average robot vacuum scored 98.7 points and typically used around 1.04 g of water.

Based on these results, the Yeedi M14 Plus is a better mop system than the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra. But you should crank the water all the way up for the best stain performance.

Combined Mopping Performance
When we look at the combined mopping score, the M14 Plus scored 23.5 points, and the P10 Pro Ultra scored 15.1 points. The average robot vacuum achieved 22.7 points.
That puts the Yeedi ahead of its main competitor and slightly above average overall.

Multi-Functional Dock Features
A big part of the Yeedi M14 Plus mopping system is its multi-functional dock. When the robot finishes its job, it returns to its dock and automatically empties its 400 ml internal dust bin into a disposable bag in the base.
It also washes its roller mop pad in 167°F hot water, empties its onboard dirty-water tank into the base, refills the robot’s clean-water tank, and dries the roller at 113°F.
The base includes dirt detection, station self-cleaning, and other advanced features that are still relatively rare at this price point.

It’s worth noting that the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra offers many of the same features. In our experience, the Yeedi M14 Plus dock worked well and adds significant value that makes it feel like a fully automated floor care system. It requires very little maintenance beyond the occasional water tank refills and bag changes.
Obstacle Avoidance and Navigation
The M14 Plus has a good obstacle avoidance system. Like the P10 Pro Ultra, it uses a camera and a 3D structured light system to recognize and avoid household objects. It also features an LED light for better performance in dark areas.
It avoided 16 of 24 objects in our obstacle avoidance evaluation, while the P10 Pro Ultra avoided 19 of 24. The average robot vacuum scored 16.6 out of 24.

The Yeedi M14 Plus uses an internal LiDAR system for mapping and navigation. It mapped both our floor plans successfully on the first try. It also showed strong navigation efficiency, covering 0.95 square meters per minute compared to 0.82 for the P10 Pro Ultra and 0.72 for the average robot vacuum.

Battery Life and Efficiency
One area where the Yeedi M14 Plus struggled was battery efficiency. Officially, it’s rated for 241 minutes on low power compared to 150 minutes for the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra and 160 minutes for the average robot vacuum.
However, in our efficiency calculations, the Yeedi scored 1.40 minutes per percent of battery compared to 2.20 for the MOVA and 1.56 for the average.

When combined with navigation efficiency, the Yeedi’s estimated square feet per charge was about 1,280 ft². That’s above average, but lower than the MOVA’s at 1,989 ft². The average robot vacuum covers about 1,170 ft² per charge.
Both robots support recharge-and-resume, meaning they can return to the dock, recharge, and resume cleaning where they left off.

App Features and Smart Controls
The M14’s app is very similar to the Ecovacs app, and the MOVA app is similar to Dreame’s. Both are among the best in the business, offering room-level scheduling, multi-level mapping, and virtual barriers.
One difference is that the P10 Pro Ultra includes a virtual assistant and live video monitoring, along with additional pet-related features. The M14 Plus does not.
Yeedi M14 Plus Review: Conclusion and Recommendation
We were pleasantly surprised after adding up all the scores. The Yeedi M14 Plus did amazing and is now our new favorite value robot vacuum. However, it’s still a fairly new product, so we’ll be monitoring user reviews over the long term for any potential deal breakers. That also means it could shift in our rankings if issues show up over time.
