Ecovacs has officially introduced its newest flagship, the Deebot X9s Pro Omni, a robot vacuum and mop that refines the successful platform of its predecessor, the X9 Pro Omni. While the new model maintains the core tech of the X9 series, it introduces significant hardware upgrades aimed at pushing the limits of suction and maintenance-free cleaning.
The Ecovacs X9s Pro Omni is a flagship robot vacuum and mop combo designed for high-power automated floor cleaning with advanced vacuuming, scrubbing, and self-maintenance features. It offers up to 30,000 Pa BLAST™ suction for strong debris pickup on carpets and hard floors, along with ZeroTangle™ anti-tangle brush technology to reduce hair wrap and improve pet-hair performance. Its mopping system uses the OZMO Roller 3.0 self-washing roller mop, which continuously cleans itself with fresh water while scrubbing floors with a rotating roller for deeper stain removal compared with traditional pad mops. The robot also includes deep edge-cleaning technology, a Dual-Cleaning Solution System that automatically dispenses the appropriate cleaning formula, and intelligent navigation using AI mapping and obstacle-avoidance sensors to plan routes and avoid common household objects. The unit pairs with an all-in-one OMNI station that automates maintenance tasks such as auto-emptying the dustbin, washing the mop, drying it, refilling water, and recharging the battery, enabling largely hands-free operation.

OZMO Roller Mopping System
The X9S Pro Omni retains the signature OZMO Roller mopping system, a departure from the dual-spinning pads found on many other flagships. Like the original Deebot X9 Pro Omni (See our review), the X9S Pro continuously washes the roller with clean water while a scraper removes dirty water in real-time. This system is paired with the familiar Omni station, which handles automated dustbin emptying, hot-water mop washing, and heated-air drying.
Key Upgrades and Refinements
The most striking change is the massive jump in suction power. The X9S Pro Omni is advertised at 30,000 Pa, nearly doubling the 16,600 Pa of the original X9 Pro. This increase, powered by updated BLAST™ technology, is designed to improve deep-carpet cleaning and large debris pickup.
Ecovacs has also introduced several tactical hardware iterations:
- TruEdge 3.0: An updated edge-cleaning feature that allows the roller mop to extend up to 15 mm beyond the robot’s body to reach baseboards and corners more effectively.
- PowerBoost Charging: A new fast-charging system that can replenish up to 10% of the battery in just 3 minutes, significantly reducing downtime for large homes.
- Dual-Cleaning Solution: An industry-first tank system that can intelligently switch between standard and heavy-duty detergents based on the type of mess detected.
- ZeroTangle 4.0: An evolution of their anti-tangle system that utilizes lateral airflow and dense anti-static bristles to prevent hair from wrapping around the main brush.

Evolution, Not Revolution
At its core, the Deebot X9S Pro Omni appears to be a sophisticated refinement of the X9 platform. It keeps the low-profile design—enabled by embedded dToF sensors rather than a top-mounted LiDAR tower—allowing it to fit under lower furniture where other flagships might struggle.
