At IFA 2024 in Berlin, Eureka unveiled a new flagship robot vacuum, the J15 Pro Ultra, a robot vacuum and mop combo with a self-cleaning base station. The J15 Pro Ultra enters the market in the premium range for its category.

The Eureka J15 Pro Ultra stands out as a real contender, boasting advanced features that deliver superior cleaning performance compared to its older sibling, the J20. Its anti hair-tangle technology actively cuts hair from the roller—proving exceptionally effective in our hair tangle tests—and it excels in picking up both flattened and deeply embedded debris from carpets. Equipped with a front-mounted camera and structured light, the J15 ensures reliable obstacle avoidance, while its sophisticated charging dock not only washes and dries the mop pads using hot water but also features a self-cleaning mop station. Additionally, the J15’s mopping system—including an automatically extending mop pad and carpet-detection technology that lifts the mop pads—combined with above-average battery efficiency and a feature-rich app, clearly positions it as the flagship model and a top pick among robot vacuums. Powerful Suction and Hair Management
The J15 Pro Ultra delivers up to 16,200Pa through an aluminum fan structure. According to Eureka, this high suction offers a debris removal rate of 99%. The robot is also equipped with a high-density blade designed to cut hair from the brush roll. Eureka claims this technology will reduce hair tangling by 99%.
Mop Technology and Edge Cleaning
The J15 Pro Ultra’s mopping system uses two spinning mop heads and has a swinging arm that will reach out to clean along edges and baseboards. This feature is designed to improve edge cleaning efficiency and ensure thorough coverage.
AI-Powered Cleaning Adjustments
The vacuum uses artificial intelligence to classify different types of debris, automatically reducing the speed of the side brush when cleaning dry debris to prevent scattering. The J15 Pro Ultra also features a Smart Clean mode that assesses the room type and flooring material to optimize its cleaning strategy.
Multifunctional Base Station
The J15 Pro Ultra comes with an 8-in-1 multifunctional base station. This station cleans the tray beneath the robot, refills clean water, drains dirty water, collects dust, washes and dries the mops and charges the unit automatically, providing a hands-free maintenance experience.
Availability and Further Information
The announcement of the J15 Pro Ultra follows closely after the release of Eureka’s J20 and E20 Plus robotic vacuum and mop combos. The J15 Pro Ultra is currently listed on Eureka’s website, though it is not yet available for purchase.
