Eufy Expands Its C-Series With the New C28 Omni Robot Vacuum

Eufy is expanding its C-series lineup with the new Eufy C28 Omni. This will be a higher end model than the C10 and C20 models that we reviewed last year, adding a higher-spec vacuum motor, a more advanced mopping system, and a fully automated dock. These specs go beyond what we saw on earlier C-series models, positioning it to be Eufy’s biggest step up inside the C-family.

The Eufy C28 Omni is a robot vacuum/mop combo that impressed in testing with a strong mix of cleaning performance, automation, and value. Its HydroJet continuous-clean roller mop sprays fresh water onto the roller while collecting dirty water separately, helping it handle wet messes without spreading them around. The mop spins at 270 RPM, applies 9.8N of pressure, lifts 10.8 mm over carpets, achieved an above-average dried-stain score, left only about one-quarter as much water behind as the average robot, and earned a combined mopping score that ranked it among the top 10 mopping systems in the test database. Vacuuming was also a strength, with 15,000Pa suction, an 89% carpet deep-clean score, perfect removal of 2.5-inch pet hair, and a flawless anti-tangle result with 7-inch hair. Additional advantages include an auto-emptying and self-maintaining dock, hot-air mop drying at 50°C (122°F), a feature-rich app with multi-floor mapping and voice assistant support, and above-average navigation efficiency. Drawbacks include below-average obstacle avoidance, successfully avoiding only 15 of 24 test obstacles, a taller-than-average body that may struggle under low furniture, below-average battery efficiency despite slightly above-average estimated coverage per charge, and an app that lacks some advanced automation options found on competitors. HydroJet Roller Mop With Real-Time Self Cleaning

The biggest standout feature may be Eufy’s HydroJet self-cleaning roller mop. This mop continuously cleans itself during mopping. The system uses fresh water throughout the cleaning cycle, along with a built-in scraper to remove debris from the mop as it runs.

The C28 also automatically-lifts its mop over carpets. This allows it to avoid wetting carpets and rugs and perform hard floor and carpet cleaning in a single cleaning run.

A 5-in-1 Dock With Full Mop Support

The C28 Omni ships with a 5-in-1 docking station, offering 5 kinds of automation. According to early listings, the dock supports:

  • Automatic dust emptying
  • Mop washing
  • Clean water refilling
  • Hot-air drying
  • Wastewater collection (of the on-board dirty water tank)
  • Detergent dispensing

15,000Pa Suction + Hair-Resistant Brush System

On the vacuuming side, Eufy claims the C28 delivers up to 15,000Pa of suction according to Eufy’s official measurements. This places it much higher than the official numbers of the other C-series models.

The side brush automatically extends into corners. The C28 also features Eufy’s DuoSpiral detangling brush system, designed to reduce hair wrap and clogs. This feature is especially relevant for pet owners and long-hair households. The brushes gather the hair, and then pull apart in order to pull the gathered hair into the dustbin.

Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

Eufy also highlights upgraded navigation, including AI obstacle avoidance and a navigation system designed to perform reliably even in low light or under furniture. This is the first time a dedicated obstacle avoidance system will be added to the C-series.

Pricing and Availability

Eufy’s C-series has traditionally been associated with value-focused models like the C10 and C20, but the C28 Omni looks like a clear move upmarket — with a much higher suction rating, a roller mop system, and flagship-style automation features.

The Eufy C28 is expected to be released in the US at an unknown date at the end of February of 2026. Pricing varies by region. Additional details are available on the Eufy website.
