Samsung Electronics today announced the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, its latest robot vacuum, as part of a broader AI-connected living lineup showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Positioned as a flagship cleaning device, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra introduces advanced perception technologies designed to simplify home cleaning through enhanced navigation and decision-making.
Previewed Previously at IFA 2025
Samsung initially previewed the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra at IFA 2025, where the company first introduced the model and outlined its core concept. Read our IFA 2025 coverage here: Samsung Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra at IFA 2025
Smarter Navigation With AI Object Recognition
Central to the new Jet Bot’s capabilities is a Qualcomm Dragonwing-powered deep learning AI Object Recognition system. According to Samsung, this technology enables the robot to better detect and distinguish between common household obstacles — including humans and pets such as cats and dogs — as well as traditionally hard-to-see objects like cables and rugs. This level of recognition aims to reduce the amount of manual preparation typically required before a robot vacuum run.

Liquid Detection Adds Contextual Awareness
For the first time in Samsung’s robot vacuum lineup, the Jet Bot Steam Ultra features AI Liquid Recognition. The system detects liquid spills and responds based on user preferences, either choosing to clean up liquids or avoid them. This contextual awareness suggests a shift toward more nuanced behavior in mixed dry and wet cleaning scenarios.
Improved Threshold Handling
Samsung has also updated the robot’s mobility, equipping it with Easy Pass Wheel technology that allows the vacuum to raise its body and lower its wheels to climb thresholds up to 2.4 inches, potentially allowing the Jet Bot to traverse transitions between rooms with less manual intervention.
AI and Autonomy at the Forefront
The Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra reflects an ongoing trend in home robotics: embedding more powerful AI and on-device processing to improve real-world performance. By combining object and liquid recognition with adaptive navigation, Samsung is signaling a move toward greater autonomy and reduced dependency on user oversight during cleaning tasks.
Samsung’s full Bespoke AI lineup, including the Jet Bot Steam Ultra, is on display at CES 2026 through January 9. Release dates and pricing for the Jet Bot Steam Ultra were not disclosed in the announcement.
An Update, Not a New Reveal
The CES 2026 announcement does not introduce a new model or replace what Samsung showed at IFA 2025. Instead, it expands on previously announced capabilities, particularly around AI perception and navigation behavior.
