Interestingly, this latest addition introduces a proprietary noise-reducing design that promises to operate at or near 50db, about as quiet as a household refrigerator.  No further information is available at this time. 

Visitors to CES in Las Vegas can explore Sharp’s cutting-edge offerings, including this new vacuum cleaner, under their theme “Toward the Future for a Better Life.”
