Hands-on Impressions from Dreame’s New York Showcase
Dreame’s mid-2025 event introduced a wide range of robot vacuums, cordless cleaners, and personal-care devices. Vacuum Wars attended the launch, and here are our key takeaways and what you need to know.
Matrix10 Ultra: Pad Swap Robot
Instead of a single set of mop pads, the Matrix10 Ultra robot vacuum and mop combo stores three dedicated sets of pads in its dock: a degreaser, a sponge, and everyday fiber. After finishing an area, the robot returns, removes the used pad, and loads the correct pad for the next room, limiting cross-contamination between kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas. The station then cleans the pads at 100 °C and blow-dries them. A new lifting suspension system raises the chassis over thresholds.
Feature | Matrix10 Ultra |
---|---|
Mop system | Auto-swaps 3 sets of pads |
Pad care | 100 °C wash + hot-air dry |
Aqua10 Roller & Aqua10 Ultra Roller: Continuous-Clean Mop and 30 kPa Suction
Dreame’s new Aqua10 line introduces its first continuous-clean roller mop: a full-width roller that rinses and squeegees itself as it works. In the ultra version, a counter-rotating accessory roller prevents matting so scrubbing power stays high. Carpet is protected by an AutoSeal guard that covers the roller when the robot senses carpet, and a 14 mm mop lift. The roller also extends to the side for better coverage along walls and in corners. ProLeap suspension lets the robot clear 42 mm single thresholds or 60 mm tiered thresholds. Dreame quotes a headline-grabbing 30,000 Pa suction figure—among the highest yet claimed for any robot vacuum.
L50 Ultra: ProLeap Suspension Comes to the L-series
The Dreame L50 Ultra is the first L-series robot to inherit Dreame’s heavy-duty ProLeap 60mm threshold-climbing system, ideal for homes with sliding-door tracks or raised transitions. It also includes the anti-tangle DuoBrush system.
L50 Ultra highlights | Details |
---|---|
Peak suction | 19,500 Pa |
Main brush | HyperStream DuoBrush anti-tangle |
Corner reach | Extendable side brush |
Mop pads | Dual rotary, 10.5 mm lift, auto-removing mop-pads |
Dock functions | Hot wash, hot-air dry, detergent dispensing |
L40s Family: L40 Ultra Refresh with Three Trim Options
Dreame has refreshed the L40 Ultra model with a new robot family, L40s. There are three members to the L40s family, and all three variants keep dual-lifting mop pads, full auto-maintenance docks, and LiDAR mapping. They upgrade the suction substantially from the L40 Ultra’s spec of 11,000Pa, and for the two that use a single roller, Dreame is shipping the anti-tangle TriCut roller along with the robot, so users don’t need to purchase it separately.
Model | Suction | Main brush | Mop care | Camera | Threshold climb |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
L40s Ultra | 19,000 Pa | Dual anti-tangle | Hot water + hot air | No | 40 mm |
L40s Ultra CE | 13,000 Pa | Single + TriCut roller included | Cool water + air | No | 20 mm |
L40s Ultra AE | 19,000 Pa | Single + TriCut roller | Hot water + hot air | RGB camera | 20 mm |
D20 series: Entry-level Models Gain DuoBrush and PowerDock
Dreame’s entry-level D20 line now delivers 13 kPa suction and the anti-tangle DuoBrush. The new D20 Ultra adds a compact PowerDock that handles auto-emptying, hot-water pad washing, and warm-air drying—bringing hands-free maintenance to Dreame’s most affordable tier.
H15 Pro CarpetFlex: Wet-Dry Cordless Built for Mixed Flooring
The H15 Pro CarpetFlex is Dreame’s first cordless floor washer designed for both hard floors and carpet. It has an official 23,000 Pa suction and adds a motorized FlexAgit bar that drops to agitate carpet and lifts for hard floors. Its base station hot-washes and blow-dries the roller, while GlideWheel drive pulls the vacuum forward for easy handling and an updated TangleCut comb helps with hair maintenance.
Z30 Essential: Trimmed-Down Version Stick Vacuum
The Z30 Essential retains the Z30’s high-speed motor and tool kit—including the pet de-shedding brush—while omitting a few premium extras to reach a lower price. Core specs remain intact, positioning the Essential as a strong budget option in Dreame’s cordless lineup.
Personal Care Devices: Smart and Powerful
Dreame also unveiled three personal care tools at the Launch:
- The Dazzle is a high-speed dryer with smart nozzle recognition, a digital display, and 300 million negative ions to reduce frizz.
- The Miracle Pro combines red light therapy, essence misting, and a 130,000 RPM motor for salon-quality styling.
- The Pocket Ultra is a foldable travel dryer with global voltage support and five styling modes in a compact, lightweight design.
