LG Unveils New Vacuum Lineup at IFA 2025

LG Electronics has announced it is debuting four new vacuum solutions at IFA 2025, each tailored for the European market. The lineup includes a robot vacuum with a steam mop, a built-in robot vacuum station, a cordless stick vacuum, and a wet-dry stick vacuum. With a focus on convenience, performance, and design, LG says these products reflect its commitment to making everyday cleaning simpler and more effective.

Robot Vacuum With Steam Mop

LG’s updated robot vacuum comes with several major upgrades. It now offers more than double the suction power compared to its predecessor and adds steam mopping to handle grease and liquid spills. The freestanding docking station goes a step further by self-sterilizing the mop with hot water and steam after each use, preventing odors and buildup.

The robot also uses an on-device AI chip for improved navigation and obstacle recognition. Its AI carpet detection system automatically returns the vacuum to its station to detach the mop when carpet is detected, preventing stains. The docking station’s furniture-like design is intended to blend into home interiors, while LG’s Shield security platform adds data protection.

Built-in Robot Vacuum Station

Designed with European kitchens in mind, LG is also introducing a built-in robot vacuum station that fits under the sink. It features an auto-opening door for seamless entry and return, while keeping the unit hidden when not in use.

Other features include:

  • Noise reduction during dust disposal through an air circulation system
  • Fully automated water supply and drainage
  • A turbidity sensor that checks mop cleanliness and triggers washing automatically

This approach aims to offer a hands-free cleaning solution while preserving a minimalist aesthetic.

New Cordless Stick Vacuum

LG’s new cordless stick vacuum is built to maintain consistent suction, even with pet hair and fine dust, thanks to Micro Cyclone technology and a new filter-cleaning system.

It also features an auto dust disposal system to reduce exposure when emptying the bin. A compact, freestanding charging station allows for flexible placement throughout the home.

Wet-Dry Stick Vacuum

The final addition is a wet-dry stick vacuum, which LG positions as a lightweight, versatile cleaner for European households. It includes:

  • AI Roller Control to reduce wrist strain
  • Suction that is powerful enough to handle both liquid spills and solid debris
  • Built-in LED lighting for cleaning in low-light areas
  • Hot water washing, steam sterilization, and hot air drying of the mop head for hygiene

The vacuum also uses AI to learn from cleaning patterns and optimize its operation over time.
