The Dyson Wash G1, a new floor cleaning device, has recently been listed on Dyson’s website in China, and people are starting to ask questions.
This model represents Dyson’s latest innovation in hard floor cleaning, combining vacuuming and floor washing capabilities. In contrast to the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, which requires changing floorheads for different tasks, the Wash G1 employs a single floorhead for a single cleaning experience.
This floorhead is distinct from the V15s Submarine’s and includes two main rollers for scrubbing and two smaller upper rollers designed for ongoing cleaning of the scrubbing rollers. The device uses a dual-tank system, drawing water from a clean water reservoir and directing soiled water into a separate containment.
Additionally, the Wash G1 features a replaceable, rechargeable battery, offering up to 35 minutes of operation. It also comes equipped with a self-cleaning base station.
As of now, the Dyson Wash G1 is exclusively available in China, with no official announcements from Dyson regarding its release in other markets, including the United States. In the US, consumers can continue using the Dyson V15s Detect Submarine, which achieved recognition in Vacuum Wars’ 2023 Best Cordless Vacuum competition video.
If Vacuum Wars ever reviews the Dyson Wash G1, we will be sure to make that review available with our Vacuum Wars Electric Mop reviews.
