Update (January 19, 2026): The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is now available. Roborock has released details about this flagship vacuum-and-mop combo, which introduces Roborock’s first roller-style mop design. It pairs a 20,000 Pa suction rating with an extra-wide roller mop and a self-cleaning dock.
Roller mops have become one of the biggest trends in robot vacuums this year, with several major brands launching flagship models that use a rolling pad design instead of spinning mop pads. The Curv 2 Flow is the newest model in the Qrevo Curv family, following the original Curv, the CurvX, and the Curv S5X. (Amazon links.)

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is a premium robot vacuum and mop designed for homes with mixed flooring. It features Roborock’s SpiraFlow self-cleaning roller mop, which continuously washes the mop during cleaning to help reduce streaking and dirty water buildup, along with up to 20,000 Pa of suction for dry debris pickup. The roller mop spans 270 mm, applies up to 15 N of downward pressure, and can lift up to 15 mm on carpet, while an automatic roller shield helps protect rugs during vacuuming. A multifunctional dock handles dustbin emptying, hot-water mop washing, warm-air drying, and dirty water drainage. The robot uses PreciSense LiDAR for navigation, Reactive AI obstacle avoidance with an opt-in camera, and includes smart features such as SmartPlan 3.0 automation, offline voice activation, and pet-aware cleaning behavior.

A Dual-Action Cleaning System
Curv 2 Flow: Roborock’s First Roller Mop System
The biggest upgrade on the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow is its new self-cleaning roller mop system, which Roborock calls “SpiraFlow.” The idea is simple: the robot cleans the mop as it mops, which helps reduce the spread of dirty water across your floors.
Unlike Roborock’s earlier robot mops that rely on rotating pads or surface-level vibration, the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow has a 270 mm (10.6 inches) rotating roller mop spinning at 220 RPM. Eight hydrating nozzles deliver a constant flow of clean water, while an internal scraper removes dirty water into a separate tank. When vacuuming carpet, an automatic roller shield engages and lifts the mop by 15 mm, helping protect rugs from the wet roller.

Roller Mop Specs: 270mm Mop Width, 220 RPM, and 15N Downward Pressure
According to Roborock, the Curv 2 Flow’s roller mop is 270 mm wide (a little over 10.5 inches) and spins at 220 RPM. Roborock also says the mop can apply 15 N of downward pressure, which is about 2.5 times more pressure than the original Curv’s 6 N.
For edge cleaning, the roller can extend to within 10mm of furniture and walls. Roborock also says the roller is anti-bacterial, with 99.99% of bacteria removed in its lab tests.

Mop Lifting and Carpet Protection: 15mm Lift and Roller Shield
The Curv 2 Flow is designed to work well in homes with a mix of hard floors and carpets. When the robot senses carpet, the mop can lift up to 15mm to help keep carpet fibers dry. Roborock also includes a roller shield that automatically covers the mop for additional carpet protection.
This is especially useful for homes where you don’t want to run vacuum-only and mop-only cleaning cycles separately.

Anti-Tangle Brushes: DuoDivide Main Brush and Lifting Arc Side Brushes
The Curv 2 Flow includes Roborock’s DuoDivide anti-tangle main brush, which funnels hair and debris through the center space to help prevent hair wrapping. We’ve tested this brush design before in other Roborock models and found it to be very good at preventing hair tangles.
It also features two Lifting Arc side brushes, which use a V-shaped design intended to reduce hair wrapping around the brush arms.

| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Roller Mop | 270 mm extra-wide rotating roller mop |
| Rotation Speed | 220 RPM |
| Water Delivery | 8 nozzles supply clean water during mopping |
| Dirty Water Management | Internal scraper removes used water into a separate onboard tank |
| Mopping Pressure | Roborock claims 2.5× the pressure of the original Curv’s mop pads |
| Carpet Protection | Automatic roller shield + up to 15 mm mop lift on carpet |
| DuoDivide Anti-Tangle Brush | Main brush + dual side brushes designed to reduce hair wrapping |
| Pet-Hair Performance | See our results on a model using this brush design |
| Debris Pickup | Roborock claims strong hair pickup; Vacuum Wars will verify performance in testing when we purchase the model |
Multifunctional Dock: Hot Water Mop Washing (75°C) and Warm Air Drying (55°C)
Roborock’s Multifunctional Dock keeps the signature “Curve” design of the series. It handles dustbin emptying, along with mop washing and drying using a newly-designed mop cleaning tray. The dock empties the robot’s onboard dirty water tank, then scrubs the roller clean by soaking it and rolling it in both directions.
Roborock says the water used for washing reaches 75°C (167°F). After washing, the dock dries the roller with warm air at 55°C (131°F). Maintenance is designed to be straightforward. The roller slides off for easier cleaning, and both the precision scraper and onboard dirty water tank are designed to be removable for routine maintenance.

Roborock also says dirty and clean water are separated inside the dock’s redesigned tray system, which is intended to minimize cross-contamination and help ensure each session starts with fresh water.
Roborock PreciSense LiDAR Navigation and Reactive AI Obstacle Avoidance
The robot uses Roborock’s PreciSense LiDAR for mapping and navigation. This differs from the RetractSense LiDAR system used on the CurvX, where the turret raises and lowers.
PreciSense LiDAR was used on the original Qrevo Curv, and it performed extremely well in our navigation testing, so expectations are high for the Curv 2 Flow. Roborock’s Reactive AI obstacle avoidance uses structured light and a camera system trained to recognize more than 200 objects. Roborock says it can detect and avoid objects as small as 3cm tall by 5cm wide.
Roborock says the robot can identify over 200 types of household obstacles, including cords, shoes, and pet messes—day or night. The onboard camera is opt-in, and Roborock notes its approach aligns with recognized IoT security guidance such as ETSI EN 303 645.
Roborock SmartPlan 3.0, “Hello Rocky” Voice Control, and Pet Features
Onboard voice activation is available through Roborock’s “Hello Rocky” voice assistant, which can trigger cleaning commands even when offline.
The Curv 2 Flow also launches with an updated Roborock SmartPlan 3.0, including a feature that allows the robot to automatically vacuum and mop rooms that haven’t been cleaned in 30 days.
Pet-focused features return as well. The robot can recognize your pet while cleaning and reduce suction and brush activity to avoid startling them. It can also take photos when it encounters your pet, and it includes a “search for pet” feature to help you locate them while you’re away.

Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow Availability and What to Expect
If the Qrevo Curv 2 Flow builds on the strong reputation of the Curv lineup, it could be one of Roborock’s most notable releases. We’re looking forward to purchasing one and testing Roborock’s take on the roller mop system.
