Numatic Issues Safety Recall for Henry Quick Corded Vacuums

The U.K.-based manufacturer Henry (part of Numatic International Ltd.) has initiated a voluntary safety recall of its HEC.100 Henry Quick Corded vacuum model following a risk of electric shock. The company has emphasized that customer safety is its highest priority and is offering a free replacement for all affected vacuums purchased between certain dates.

Reason for the Recall

According to Numatic International, the recall was initiated after identifying a safety concern affecting certain HEC.100 Henry Quick Corded vacuum units. A small number of products may pose a risk of electric shock due to an internal fault. The company has emphasized that customer safety is its highest priority and is offering a free replacement for all affected vacuums purchased between August 1, 2025, and October 17, 2025.

Products Affected

Henry Quick Corded vacuums purchased between 1 August 2025 and 17 October 2025 bearing serial numbers that begin with 7524 00001-03998 or 7527, followed by certain listed codes. Units sold after 17 October 2025 are not affected.

In addition, the UK recall notice lists specific 7527 serial number suffixes that are included in the recall: 03751, 03793, 03795, 03799, 03801, 03804, 03805, 03809, 03812, 03819, 03826, 03829, 03832, 03834, 03839, 03843, 03851, 05905, 05951.

The official recall notice also references barcode 5028965881910 for the affected product.

Consumer Guidance

Numatic provides a return and exchange process for affected HEC.100 Henry Quick Corded vacuums purchased between August 1, 2025, and October 17, 2025. If a customer can’t complete the online process, Argos also notes they can return the vacuum to a local Argos store for a full refund.

  1. Go to the company’s recall page for the most up-to-date instructions and details from the manufacturer.
  2. Find your model number and serial label inside your Henry Quick Corded unit.
  3. If it matches the recall criteria above, stop using it immediately and unplug from power.
  4. Visit the Henry recall page and complete the return/exchange process.
  5. Share the recall information with anyone who may own the affected model, especially older units in shared homes or rentals.
