Ecovacs Expands Deebot Lineup with Two New OZMO Roller Models

Ecovacs announced two new robot vacuum‑mop hybrids—the DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and the DEEBOT T80 OMNI—both built around the company’s latest OZMO Self‑Washing Roller Mop. The newcomers will extend the roller‑style wet‑cleaning system from Ecovacs’ 2024 flagships with both a new high‑end X‑series model and a lower‑priced T‑series option. These models are expected for release in mid-May.

OZMO Roller Mop Moves Down‑Market

The X‑series has carried Ecovacs’ most advanced features for several product generations; with this expansion the mid‑tier T‑series also picks up the self‑washing OZMO Roller head. This mop design can lift off carpet and extend toward baseboards, and the docking station washes the roller after each run, returning it ready for the next job. According to Ecovacs, the system is designed to limit cross‑contamination and reduce manual maintenance.

Ecovacs lists peak suction for the X9 PRO OMNI at 16600Pa. The ZeroTangle 3.0 is more advanced than the ZeroTangle 2.0, which performed well in our tests with 0% tangles on 7 inch hair. Ecovacs explains that this next generation extends the ZeroTangle technology to the side brush as well as the main brush, which we are interested to try out for ourselves.

What is the OZMO Self-Washing Roller Mop, and how does it work?

The OZMO Self-Washing Roller Mop is Ecovacs’ latest wet-cleaning system that automatically washes itself at the docking station after each cleaning run. It lifts off carpets, extends toward baseboards for improved edge cleaning, and reduces manual maintenance and cross-contamination.

How does the DEEBOT T80 OMNI compare to the X9 PRO OMNI?

The T80 OMNI offers the same OZMO Roller Mop technology and many core cleaning features at a lower price point compared to the premium X9 PRO OMNI, which includes advanced upgrades like the ZeroTangle 3.0 brush system and the OZMO Roller mop. The T80 OMNI has higher suction, but the X9 PRO OMNI includes YIKO voice assistant.

What are the key upgrades in the X9 PRO OMNI’s ZeroTangle 3.0 system?

ZeroTangle 3.0 extends main brush hair-tangle prevention technology to the side brushe, aiming to improve hair pickup performance, especially with long hair. The ZeroTangle 3.0 side brush has an anti-tangle V-shape to shake off hair before it wraps around the brush.

When will the DEEBOT X9 PRO OMNI and T80 OMNI be available for purchase?

Ecovacs has announced both models to be released in mid-May 2025, expanding Ecovacs’ lineup of robot vacuum-mop hybrids.
