Robotin to Demo Modular Robot Carpet Washer at CES 2026

Robotin has announced it will attend CES 2026, where the company plans to showcase hands-on demonstrations of its upcoming Robotin R2, a modular robot designed to combine autonomous vacuuming with automated carpet washing.

The Robotin R2 will be exhibited at the Venetian Expo in Eureka Park, with live carpet-cleaning demonstrations scheduled throughout the show.

What Robotin Is Showing at CES 2026

At CES 2026, Robotin plans to demonstrate the Robotin R2’s modular approach to floor cleaning. Unlike traditional robot vacuums, the R2 is designed to switch between vacuuming and carpet washing using dedicated modules, allowing it to handle deeper carpet cleaning autonomously.

The carpet cleaning system uses a three-stage process that includes scrubbing, extraction, and drying. This positions the Robotin R2 closer to a robotic carpet washer than a typical vacuum-and-mop combo, targeting use cases such as pet messes, high-traffic carpets, and deeper cleaning needs.

Dock With Large Water Capacity and Heated Cleaning

A key component of the Robotin R2 system is its dock station, which houses large clean and dirty water tanks to support extended carpet-cleaning sessions without frequent manual refills. According to the company, the dock heats water up to 140°F (60°C) to improve cleaning effectiveness.

The dock automatically manages water refilling and wastewater collection, allowing the robot to clean several hundred square feet of carpet in a single cycle.

Modular Robot Vacuum and Carpet Washer Concept

In addition to carpet washing, the Robotin R2 also functions as a robot vacuum when equipped with its vacuum module. The modular design allows the robot to switch between cleaning modes depending on the task.

When configured as a vacuum, the Robotin R2 features a 2-liter on-board dustbin designed to reduce the frequency of manual emptying and support longer cleaning intervals between maintenance.

This modular approach combines autonomous vacuuming and deeper carpet cleaning in a single platform, setting the Robotin R2 apart from most robot vacuums that focus primarily on dry debris pickup or light mopping.
