Eufy Launches Omni S2 Pro Robot Vacuum with UV-C Floor Disinfection

Anker has launched the Eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S2 Pro, a premium robot vacuum and mop that adds UV-C floor treatment to the electrolyzed-water cleaning technology used in the standard Omni S2. Announced on November 2, 2026, the new model also features upgraded suction, a redesigned roller-mop system, and a high-temperature self-cleaning dock.

The main distinction is its focus on floor hygiene. Eufy says the S2 Pro uses two separate disinfection methods as it cleans, although its laboratory disinfection claims should not be confused with independently verified results in a home. The S2 Pro is now listed on Eufy’s US website and Amazon.

Eufy Omni S2 Pro

The Eufy Omni S2 Pro combines manufacturer-rated 40,000 Pa suction with a HydroJet 3.0 roller mop that continuously cleans itself using 131°F water and 16 N of downward pressure. UV-C lights and electrolyzed water provide floor disinfection features. Its extending side brush and roller mop target edges, while 3D ToF and RGB sensing support mapping and recognition of over 360 obstacle types. The robot automatically lifts its mop on carpets and increases suction when enabled. Its station empties debris, washes the mop with 212°F water, and dries it with heated air. App controls provide scheduling, cleaning adjustments, and zone cleaning. Vacuum Wars has not tested this product yet. See additional info

UV-C Light and Electrolyzed Water for Floor Disinfection

Eufy describes the Omni S2 Pro as the first robot vacuum to combine underbody UV-C light and electrolyzed water in one floor-disinfecting system. Six UV-C LEDs operate at a claimed 275-nanometer peak wavelength, while the mopping system produces an electrolyzed-water solution from tap water. According to Eufy, the UV-C lights shut off when the robot is lifted.

In the company’s reported testing, its combined system achieved a 99.99% disinfection rate against specified test organisms, including E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, influenza virus, and Aspergillus niger. These are manufacturer-reported laboratory findings, not Vacuum Wars test results or a guarantee of equivalent outcomes on every household floor.

HydroJet 3.0 Roller Mopping and a Hot-Wash Dock

The S2 Pro uses Eufy’s HydroJet 3.0 roller mop, which the company says measures 290 mm wide and applies 16 N of downward pressure. The system uses water heated to 55°C (131°F), with dual scrapers flushing the roller repeatedly as it cleans. An extending cleaning mechanism is intended to reach closer to edges and corners.

At the station, Eufy advertises a 100°C (212°F) mop-washing cycle followed by 55°C (131°F) heated drying. The UniClean station also handles dust emptying and water management. The hotter wash process could reduce the amount of manual mop maintenance needed, but real-world stain removal, residue management, and dock upkeep remain to be evaluated independently.

40,000Pa Suction and Upgraded Filtration

Eufy rates the Omni S2 Pro at up to 40,000Pa of suction and 100 air watts, compared with the standard S2’s (see our review) advertised 30,000Pa. Its AeroTurbo 3.0 five-layer multi-cyclone filtration system is designed to retain fine particles while maintaining airflow. The company also claims 99.99% allergen containment under its stated test conditions and says the product has earned Asthma & Allergy Friendly certification.

Advertised peak suction is not a direct measurement of carpet pickup or overall vacuuming performance, and manufacturer filtration claims need to be considered in the context of the stated testing conditions.

Navigation, Obstacle Avoidance, and Threshold Climbing

The S2 Pro incorporates CleanMind AI navigation with a 3D time-of-flight laser system. Eufy says it can recognize more than 360 obstacle categories and detect objects as small as 1 cm. The company also claims that the robot can clear single thresholds up to 3.5 cm and qualifying double thresholds up to 7 cm.

These capabilities will be particularly relevant for homes with rugs, furniture legs, toys, and uneven transitions between rooms, though object recognition and threshold performance depend on the actual obstacles and environment.

How It Compares with the Omni S2

We previously tested the standard Eufy Omni S2 in our Vacuum Wars studio. It performed particularly well in carpet deep cleaning, pet-hair pickup, and obstacle avoidance, while its stain-removal performance and navigation efficiency were weaker points. Those findings apply to the S2, not the newly released Pro.

The S2 Pro builds on that platform with an additional UV-C treatment system, higher advertised suction, updated mopping hardware, and hotter dock washing. Whether the changes translate into noticeably better floor cleaning is a separate question from Eufy’s stated hygiene performance.

Availability and What We Know So Far

The Eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S2 Pro is listed for sale through Eufy and Amazon US. Its main proposition is an expanded cleaning and disinfection system intended for households that prioritize floor hygiene alongside routine vacuuming and mopping.

At this stage, the UV-C disinfection figures, filtration performance, and upgraded hardware specifications come from Anker’s November 2 announcement. We have not established independent Vacuum Wars test results for the S2 Pro, so this launch coverage is not a review or recommendation.
