Design and Runtime

The PowerPro Plus weighs in as a lightweight, rechargeable stick vacuum, designed for easy maneuverability around furniture and tight spaces. In standard (handheld) mode, it delivers up to 50 minutes of runtime on a single charge, enabling users to tackle larger cleaning jobs without pausing to recharge.

Hypervelocity Suction & PowerFins™ Nozzle

At the core of the IZ377H is Shark’s “hypervelocity suction” system, which the company says delivers strong airflow to remove embedded debris. Its PowerFins multi-surface nozzle features flexible, rubberized fins that flex to maintain contact with both carpets and hard floors, aiming to provide consistent cleaning depth without the need to switch attachments.

FloorDetect™ Technology

A standout feature of the new model is FloorDetect™ technology, which automatically senses the surface type and adjusts the brushroll speed accordingly. This hands-free switching is designed to optimize performance whether moving from hardwood to area rugs or dense carpet.

Pet-Friendly Brushroll

Pet owners frequently contend with hair wrap on traditional brushrolls. The PowerPro Plus integrates a self-cleaning brushroll that Shark reports will actively remove hair as it spins, reducing the need for manual brush maintenance and keeping suction optimal over time.

Filtration and Allergen Control

Equipped with a whole-machine HEPA filtration system and an anti-allergen complete seal, the IZ377H captures and traps over 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. This sealed filtration path ensures that dust and common allergens remain contained within the vacuum, rather than recirculating into the air.

LED Headlights and Handheld Versatility

To aid visibility under furniture and in dark corners, the PowerPro Plus includes LED headlights on its floor nozzle. When more precise cleaning is required—such as on furniture, countertops, or car interiors—the unit quickly converts to a handheld vacuum, supported by two included attachments: an 8-inch crevice tool and an anti-allergen brush.

Accessories and Pricing

Standard accessories shipped with the IZ377H are:

  • 8″ duster crevice tool
  • Anti-allergen brush tool

Shark has positioned the PowerPro Plus as a mid-range cordless stick, offering competitive performance against both entry-level and premium cordless models. Pricing and availability details vary by retailer.

By combining automatic floor detection, a tangle-free brushroll, extended runtime, and sealed HEPA filtration, Shark’s PowerPro Plus aims to deliver a user-friendly, pet-capable cordless vacuum that adapts to a variety of cleaning tasks without frequent attachment changes or maintenance interruptions.
