The Floor Cleaning Robot S20 was first previewed at CES 2025. It builds on its predecessor, the S10, with upgraded cleaning technology and automation. Key features include the following.
- RinseSyncâ„¢ roller mop system, which continuously scrubs and rinses the mop during cleaning.
- 10,000Pa suction power paired with AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
- An anti-tangle rubber brush and a V-shaped side brush, designed to reduce hair tangles.
- MultiClean Base Station, available in two versions:

- Auto-fill & drain edition that connects to household plumbing for automatic water refills and drainage.
The base station also empties dust for up to 90 days and dries the mop with heated air to prevent odor and bacterial growth. In addition, the S20 can automatically refill the company’s Evaporative Humidifier, creating further links within the SwitchBot ecosystem.

Matter 1.4 Compatibility
Both the SwitchBot S20 and K11+ arrive with full Matter 1.4 support, extending their usability across multiple smart home platforms. This includes direct integration with Apple Home, where users can take advantage of section cleaning controls without relying on third-party apps. By aligning with the latest Matter standard, SwitchBot positions both models for smoother interoperability with other connected devices, making them easier to adopt in diverse smart home ecosystems.

Market Position
With these two releases, SwitchBot is targeting different household needs. The S20 is aimed at families seeking high-capacity, fully automated cleaning, while the K11+ provides a smaller, more space-efficient option for urban environments.
