Ecovacs has expanded its T90 robot vacuum lineup with the Deebot T90 Max Plus Omni, pairing a claimed 40,000Pa suction rating with OZMO Roller 3.0 mopping and an automated dock that washes the roller with water heated up to 212°F. The new model brings another option to a series that has already performed well in our studio evaluations.
Its predecessor, the T90 Pro Omni, has consistently appeared on the Vacuum Wars Top 20 Robot Vacuums list since we first evaluated it. That track record makes the Max Plus an interesting addition, although the Pro’s test results and ranking apply specifically to the model we tested.

Ecovacs T90 Max+ Omni
The Ecovacs T90 Max + Omni combines 40,000 Pa suction with OZMO ROLLER 3.0 mopping, featuring 200-rpm scrubbing, 3,800 Pa downward pressure, and 32 water jets. TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller for edge cleaning, while 15-mm mop lifting supports carpet cleaning. ZeroTangle 4.0 reduces hair wrapping. Embedded dToF LiDAR and TrueDetect 3D provide mapping and obstacle avoidance, with 20-mm threshold crossing. A 5,200-mAh battery supports fast charging. The OMNI station includes a 2.5-liter dust bag, automatic emptying, 212°F mop washing, 113°F drying, and self-cleaning. App, Apple Watch, voice controls, and adaptive cleaning modes allow users to customize cleaning throughout the home. Vacuum Wars has not tested this model yet.
Higher Claimed Suction and Anti-Tangle Brushes
Ecovacs rates the T90 Max Plus Omni’s BLAST vacuum system at up to 40,000Pa, compared with the T90 Pro Omni’s advertised 30,000Pa. The Max Plus also includes ZeroTangle 4.0 brush technology designed to reduce hair wrapping during cleaning. These are manufacturer specifications; a higher advertised suction figure alone does not establish better debris pickup or carpet cleaning.

OZMO Roller 3.0 Mopping with Edge Extension
The Max Plus uses a 27-centimeter roller mop that Ecovacs says rotates at 200 RPM. Its self-washing system supplies fresh water through 32 jets while a scraper removes dirty water during cleaning, helping limit the redistribution of grime across hard floors.
TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller toward walls and furniture, while the mop automatically lifts 15 millimeters when the robot cleans carpet. Together, these features address edge coverage and transitions between hard floors and rugs.
Automated Mop Washing, Drying, and Dustbin Emptying
The included OMNI Station automatically empties the robot’s dustbin and washes its roller with fresh water heated up to 212°F, followed by 113°F hot-air drying. Those temperatures refer to dock maintenance, rather than water applied directly to floors.
The station also includes a self-cleaning function and a replaceable mop-washing filter to help manage debris collected during roller cleaning.

Slim Design and LiDAR Navigation
At approximately 3.7 inches tall, the T90 Max Plus Omni is designed to reach beneath furniture with sufficient clearance. Embedded LiDAR handles mapping, while TrueDetect 3D provides obstacle detection. Controls are available through the Ecovacs Home app, Apple Watch, and compatible external voice assistants.
A New Addition to an Established T90 Series
In our T90 Pro Omni review, the earlier model stood out for strong vacuuming, excellent roller mopping, pet hair pickup, and obstacle avoidance. It collected all the hair in our flattened pet hair test and avoided 23 of 24 objects in our obstacle evaluations. That track record makes the T90 Max Plus Omni a model to watch, though separate testing is needed to determine whether it can match or improve on the Pro’s performance
