iRobot Expands Roomba Lineup with Five New Robot Vacuums and Introduces Its First Non-Robotic Floor Cleaner

iRobot has launched its first major product expansion since it was acquired by Picea last year, introducing five new Roomba robot vacuum models alongside the company’s first non-robotic floor cleaning product, the Roomba Electro Plus 5-in-1 Disinfecting Hard Floor Cleaner.

The expanded lineup introduces new Max and Plus series robots with features such as LiDAR navigation, AI-powered obstacle avoidance on select models, self-maintaining docks, and upgraded mopping systems across multiple price points.

The new robot lineup includes:

New Features Across the Lineup

All five new robot models use LiDAR-based navigation, with the premium Max models and Plus 575 Combo adding ClearView Pro LiDAR and PrecisionVision AI for obstacle recognition. According to iRobot, these models can identify and navigate around objects such as cords, shoes, toys, and pet waste while creating 3D maps of the home.

Four of the five new robots include an AutoWash Dock that automatically empties the dustbin, washes mop pads, dries them with heat, and refills the robot’s onboard water tank. The vacuum-only Roomba Max 715 Vac instead ships with an AutoEmpty Dock for automatic dust collection.

The new Plus series robots also feature a redesigned chassis that iRobot says is 46% smaller than previous generations, allowing them to clean beneath lower furniture. The Plus 575 Combo is also rated to climb thresholds up to 35 mm.
