It’s a New Era for iRobot: New Roomba Combo 10 Max Robot + AutoWash Dock

iRobot Corporation has unveiled its most advanced cleaning solution to date: the Roomba Combo® 10 Max Robot + AutoWash™ Dock. This 2-in-1 vacuum and mop system sets a new benchmark for the company’s offerings in intelligent and efficient floor care.

Moving forward in Hands-Free Cleaning

The Roomba Combo 10 Max introduces iRobot’s first multifunction AutoWash™ Dock, designed to minimize user intervention. This dock refills and recharges the robot and also washes and dries its mop pad, empties debris, and self-cleans, making the cleaning process more convenient and thorough than ever before.

Enhanced Dirt Detection and Intelligent Navigation

Powered by iRobot OS, the Roomba Combo 10 Max features the new Enhanced Dirt Detect™ Technology. This system allows the robot to identify and focus on heavily soiled areas, enhancing cleaning efficiency up to eight times more than previous models. This ensures that the robot is able to concentrate efforts where they are needed most.

Unique Mopping System for Versatile Cleaning

The Roomba Combo 10 Max stands out with its durable metal Auto-Retract Mopping System, which lifts the mop pad when carpets are detected, ensuring that even high-pile carpets remain dry and clean. This is a feature found previously in the Roomba Combo J7+, and is a dual-function capability that allows seamless transition between vacuuming and mopping.

Advanced Features for Comprehensive Cleaning

The robot employs a 4-Stage Cleaning System, including an Edge-Sweeping Brush, Dual Multi-Surface Brushes, and Power-Lifting Suction, which is 100% stronger than previous models. Additionally, the SmartScrub feature offers deeper scrubbing action for stubborn messes, while Carpet Boost automatically increases suction on carpets for enhanced performance.

Integration with Smart Home Ecosystems

iRobot continues its focus on smart home integration. The Roomba Combo 10 Max will be compliant with the Matter smart home protocol by Q4 2024 and compatible with the Apple Home ecosystem. This ensures seamless communication across smart home devices, enhancing user convenience and control.
