Roborock Q Revo 2 Pro Robot Vacuum Launches With an Upgraded Multifunctional Dock

Roborock has introduced the Q Revo 2 Pro, a new robot vacuum and mop positioned in the company’s midrange lineup. The model combines 20,000 Pa of claimed suction power with dual spinning mop pads, automatic mop removal, anti-tangle brushes, and an upgraded multifunctional dock.

The Q Revo 2 Pro appears designed to bring several features previously associated with more expensive robot vacuums into a more accessible price tier. Roborock is placing particular emphasis on its carpet-cleaning capabilities, edge coverage, reduced hair tangling, and automated mop maintenance.

20,000 Pa of Suction

The Q Revo 2 Pro offers up to 20,000 Pa of suction power, according to Roborock. That is a notable figure for a robot vacuum at this price point and places it just below Roborock’s 2025 flagship, the Saros 10R (see our review), which is rated at 22,000 Pa.

Multiple Carpet-Cleaning Options

The Q Revo 2 Pro offers several carpet-specific cleaning strategies, including automatic mop removal, mop lifting, carpet boost, and a dedicated deep-cleaning mode.

When the robot is scheduled for a vacuum-only run, it can leave its mop pads at the dock rather than carrying them across carpeted areas. This automatic mop-removal feature, also found in Roborock’s premium Saros lineup (see our review of the Roborock Saros 20), may be particularly useful in homes with medium- or high-pile carpet, where lifting the pads alone may not provide sufficient clearance.

For cleaning runs that include both hard floors and carpet, the Q Revo 2 Pro can raise its mop pads by approximately 15 millimeters when carpet is detected. This is intended to reduce contact between damp mop pads and carpet fibers.

The robot can also automatically increase suction using Carpet Boost. Roborock’s Deep Carpet Cleaning mode makes a second pass over carpeted areas for more thorough cleaning.

Together, these features give users multiple ways to manage mixed-floor homes: removing the mop pads entirely for carpet-focused vacuuming, lifting them during combined cleaning runs, or increasing suction and coverage when deeper carpet cleaning is needed.

Dual Spinning Mops and FlexiArm Edge Cleaning

For hard-floor cleaning, the Q Revo 2 Pro uses two spinning mop pads that can rotate at up to 200 revolutions per minute.

Users can select from 30 water-flow levels, providing more control over how much water the robot applies to different flooring types. The robot can also perform targeted re-mopping in areas that may require additional cleaning.

A FlexiArm mop extends outward to improve coverage along walls and around furniture legs. Roborock is also highlighting a reversible side brush that can change direction when the robot reaches corners, helping it reach farther into tight spaces and reduce missed debris.

Roborock materials reportedly reference a specific extension distance for the FlexiArm mop, but the supplied figure appears potentially misstated. We have therefore omitted that measurement pending clarification.

Roborock says the Q Revo 2 Pro’s FlexiArm mop extends along edges, while its reversible side brush changes direction to improve debris pickup in corners.

Dual Anti-Tangle Brush System

The Q Revo 2 Pro includes Roborock’s DuoDivide main brush, which is designed to resist hair wrapping around the brush assembly.

Its side brush is also designed to reduce tangling. Together, Roborock refers to these components as a dual zero-tangle system.

Hair resistance has become an increasingly important feature among robot vacuum manufacturers, particularly for homes with pets or occupants with long hair. However, the effectiveness of the system will depend on how it performs under real-world conditions and with different hair types.

Redesigned Multifunctional Dock

The Q Revo 2 Pro introduces a redesigned multifunctional dock with a smoother, more contemporary front panel than the dual-textured design used on several other Q Revo models.

Roborock Q Revo 2 Pro with its upgraded multifunctional dock, highlighting automatic dust emptying, water-tank refilling, a detachable dock base, off-peak charging, a soaking tray, heated mop washing, and warm-air drying.
The Roborock Q Revo 2 Pro’s redesigned dock automates dust emptying and water refilling, washes the mop pads with 149°F water, dries them with 113°F air, and adds a removable cleaning tray with a soaking mode.

The dock can automatically:

  • Empty the robot’s onboard dustbin
  • Refill its water tank
  • Wash the mop pads with heated water
  • Dry the mop pads with warm air
  • Remove, store, and reattach the mop pads
  • Run a soaking cycle to loosen debris in the cleaning tray

Roborock says the dock washes the mop pads with water heated to approximately 149 degrees Fahrenheit and dries them with air heated to approximately 113 degrees. Heated washing may help remove grease and residue, while warm-air drying is intended to reduce lingering moisture and odors between cleaning sessions.

The dock measures 17.72 inches tall, 15.83 inches wide, and 19.45 inches deep. That makes it noticeably shorter than some other models in the current Q Revo lineup. For comparison, the Q Revo S Pro dock measures 20.43 inches tall, 13.39 inches wide, and 19.17 inches deep.

In practical terms, the Q Revo 2 Pro trades some additional width for a lower overall profile. That could make it easier to place beneath counters, shelving, or other areas with limited vertical clearance.

At 17.72 inches tall, the Roborock Q Revo 2 Pro dock has a lower profile than the 20.43-inch Q Revo S Pro dock, though it is slightly wider.

LiDAR Navigation and Reactive Obstacle Avoidance

The Q Revo 2 Pro uses LiDAR to navigate, map the home, and plan efficient cleaning routes. Through the Roborock app, it supports quick initial mapping, multi-floor map storage, and a 3D map view for more precise room and cleaning-zone customization. The app can also recommend no-go zones in areas where the robot may be more likely to become stuck or encounter navigation problems.

For object avoidance, Roborock’s Reactive Tech system is designed to detect and maneuver around common household obstacles, helping the robot maintain smoother, more uninterrupted cleaning runs.

A Midrange Model With Premium-Leaning Features

While Roborock expanded its Qrevo lineup earlier this year (see our coverage), the Q Revo 2 Pro arrived with little advance notice and no apparent pre-launch announcement. The new model enters an increasingly competitive midrange robot vacuum category with a strong feature set on paper, including 20,000 Pa of claimed suction, automatic mop removal, heated mop washing, warm-air drying, edge-extending mopping, and anti-tangle brushes.

The automatic mop-removal system may be its most meaningful advantage for homes with a mixture of hard flooring and carpet. The upgraded dock and soaking tray may also appeal to users who prioritize mop hygiene and lower-maintenance ownership.
