Levoit Launches New VortexIQ Cordless Vacuum Series With Green Light Illumination

Levoit has launched its new VortexIQ cordless vacuum series, introducing two new stick vacuums that feature green light dust detection technology, anti-tangle brushrolls, HEPA filtration, and a self-standing design.

The lineup consists of the Levoit VortexIQ and the Levoit VortexIQ Pro. Both models are designed for hard floors and low-pile carpet and include a 180-degree lay-flat design for cleaning under furniture. They also continue Levoit’s emphasis on HEPA filtration, a feature that has been a consistent part of the company’s cordless vacuum lineup and complements the brand’s broader reputation in the home air quality category.

NeoSight Green Light Dust Detection Technology

A defining feature of the VortexIQ series is Levoit’s NeoSight green light floor illumination system.

According to the company, the 150-degree green light is designed to reveal dust and pet hair that may be difficult to see under normal lighting conditions. Levoit states that the illumination can make dust appear larger and more visible while cleaning, although results may vary depending on floor type and lighting conditions.

Green-light dust detection systems have become increasingly common in cordless vacuums as manufacturers look for ways to improve debris visibility on hard floors. At Vacuum Wars, we’ve seen similar illumination systems appear on a growing number of cordless vacuum releases in recent years, particularly among premium and upper-midrange models.

Vacuum Wars’ Initial Thoughts

This release is especially interesting to us because Levoit has already established a strong track record in the cordless vacuum category. In our testing, the Levoit LVAC-200 (see our review) earned a reputation as one of the strongest values in the market and currently holds the position of Best Value Cordless Vacuum in Vacuum Wars’ June 2026 rankings. We have also previously reviewed the LVAC-300 (see our review) and found both models to offer a competitive blend of performance, simplicity, and affordability.

The new VortexIQ series appears to build on that foundation while adding several features that have become increasingly common in higher-end cordless vacuums, including green-light dust detection, anti-tangle brushroll technology, and a self-standing design.

We were also interested to see Levoit continue its emphasis on HEPA filtration. While HEPA filtration is not new to the company’s vacuum lineup, it aligns with a brand that many consumers already associate with air purification products. That focus on filtration has been a consistent theme across Levoit’s floorcare and air treatment categories.

If Vacuum Wars reviews these products, we will make our findings available in the cordless vacuum reviews section of this website. Top performers can earn a spot on our top cordless vacuums list.
