Today’s focus is on a robot vacuum mop combo from a newer brand—the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra. It’s been selling well online (in part due to its comparatively low price), so we picked one up for ourselves. We put it through various evaluations over the past few weeks to see if it lived up to the hype, and we were extremely impressed. In this MOVA P10 Pro Ultra review, we’ll go over the pros, cons, features, and why it immediately became the best value robot vacuum on our Top 20 robot vacuums list.
The Mova P10 Pro Ultra easily handles dust, pet hair, and debris on hard floors and carpets with powerful 13,000Pa suction and advanced multi-level mapping. Its all-in-one docking station automatically empties the dustbin, refills the water tank, adds cleaning solution, cleans the mop pads with hot water, dries the mop pads with heated air, and self-cleans the washboard. The Mova P10 Pro Ultra lifts the mop pads 10.5mm to avoid wetting carpets, and the built-in RGB camera with 3D structured light precisely detects up to 70 kinds of objects, ensuring thorough cleaning even in dim spaces. Its FlexReach extending side brush and mop pad efficiently cleans corners and beneath low furniture. Pet-friendly features include pet checkup and video monitoring. “Hey Mova” virtual assistant accepts voice commands for added convenience.See additional info

The MOVA P10 Pro Ultra
We’ve actually been waiting a long time for robot vacuums with this many features to start selling at a more reasonable price. You could say it was inevitable that it would happen. But it’s taken longer than we expected.
The P10 Pro Ultra represents a significant change in the value proposition of robot vacuums. If it were selling at its list price of $1,000, it would be a good robot vacuum, but we wouldn’t be shouting from the rooftops about it.
However, this robot vacuum has been consistently selling for around $600 since its release. It even sold for $500 during a recent sale. So, the P10 Pro Ultra really is a shout-from-the-rooftops kind of value, especially if that trend continues.
MOVA P10 Pro Ultra Review: Evaluation and Performance
For our review of the P10 Pro Ultra, we thoroughly evaluated the robot vacuum, assessing its performance across a range of real-world cleaning challenges. It achieved impressive results in all key areas.
Debris Pickup and Side Brush
The first thing we noticed is that it’s really good at its primary job of vacuuming hard floors and carpets. It has a fairly standard main brush and floating brush-roll housing with a single side brush that works well with the main brush to sweep up debris. And it did so efficiently in our various pickup evaluations.
It could pick up everything from fine debris on hard floors to extra-large debris on both surface types. Its side brush can also automatically extend to sweep corner debris better. This is a relatively new feature for robot vacuums, but it performed really well in our evaluations.
Practical Performance
Its practical performance results were excellent, too. For example, it was well above average in the carpet deep clean evaluation, where we see how good robots are at picking up deeply embedded debris like sand in carpets. It scored higher than some robots twice its price (81%, where the average is 75.4%).
In our crevice pickup evaluation, the results were similar in performance. It was as good or better than its more expensive competitors, scoring 3, and the average is 2.
The main brush also resisted hair tangles in our 7-inch hair evaluation with great success. Only 4% tangled vs. the average of 38%.
Power
The P10 Pro Ultra’s overall power numbers were above average in suction and airflow performance at max power. In our evaluations, it measured 20 CFM (cubic feet per minute) in airflow. This is substantially higher than the average of 16.4 CFM and well ahead of competitors like the Roborock Saros 10R, which came in at 15 CFM.
As for suction, this robot vacuum reached 1.08 kPa, again outpacing the average of 0.83 kPa and nearly doubling the 10R’s 0.58 kPa. So, in terms of raw performance, the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra easily competes with (and in some cases outperforms) much more expensive models.
Features of the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra robot vacuum
Navigation Efficiency
The robot vacuum has a traditional spinning LiDAR sensor on the top, which makes it very accurate in creating maps of your house and navigating around efficiently. It was above average in our navigation and coverage evaluations.
Battery Life
Its battery life was extraordinary. The P10 Pro Ultra uses a 5200 mAh battery and has one of the best battery efficiency scores we’ve ever seen.
In our evaluations, it achieved an estimated 2,157 square feet per charge, far exceeding the average of 1,015 ft².
It also had an impressive 2.43 minutes per percent of battery, compared to the average of 1.31 minutes per percent.
If you have a larger home or require extended cleaning sessions, these numbers confirm that the P10 Pro Ultra is a fit.
Obstacle Avoidance
The robot vacuum has front-mounted obstacle avoidance sensors, including a camera, structured light sensors, and an LED light. So it can see better in the dark, such as under furniture.
It was trained on 70-plus objects and was decent at recognizing and avoiding objects in our evaluations. It scored 19, where the average is about 17, and a perfect score is 24. While not perfect, it was better at avoiding objects than any robot vacuum we’ve seen in this price range.
Mopping System
The P10 Pro Ultra’s mopping system comes with all the top-tier features. It uses two spinning mop pads with electronically controlled water dispensing. And its two mop pads lift automatically whenever the robot senses carpets.
This allows it to vacuum and mop homes with a mixture of hard floors and carpets in the same run, which is an essential feature for efficiency.
Also, one of its mop pads automatically extends whenever it’s close to walls for significantly better edge coverage, which did very well in our evaluations. You can control this feature with the app.
Automated Dock
One of the biggest advantages of owning the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra is its multifunctional charging dock. It has almost every important feature you would want in a premium product.
The robot vacuum automatically empties the contents of its dustbin into its disposable bag. It will wash its mop pads with hot water, dry the mop pads with hot air, and refill the robot’s clean water tank automatically.
There are also more advanced bin features, such as bin self-cleaning, where a module at the bottom of the base mechanically cleans leftover debris. But you can remove the tray for manual deep cleaning, which isn’t always the case for robot vacuums.
You can control how often the robot returns to its bin to empty itself or clean its pads during a run in the app. It has detergent filling and even a dirty water sensor. So it can tell how dirty the mop water is and determine how much to wash the mop pads.
App
We were pleasantly surprised by MOVA’s app, which is unexpected for a new brand. It seems apps are getting better across the board, and this app was hard to distinguish from a top-of-the-line competitor.
It has all the major features we’ve come to expect, including things like multi-level mapping, virtual barriers, carpet boost, individual room settings, and granular control over just about everything.
The app also has advanced features like a virtual assistant, voice activation, and pet-related features (it can find your pet or make a virtual call with them). It’s much like modern flagships, but at a dramatically reduced price.
Cons of the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra
It can’t all be good stuff, and this MOVA P10 Pro Ultra review won’t be complete if we don’t cover the potential drawbacks.
Dried Stain Mopping
In our dried-on stain mopping evaluation, the mopping performance scores were a little below average (73, where the average was 93 out of 100). It wasn’t terrible, and the P10 Pro Ultra still effectively mops normal household dried-on stains with no issues. It just wasn’t as good as some of the more expensive competitors when it comes to extremely tough stains.
Flattened Pet Hair
Another area it didn’t do as well in was the 2.5-inch flattened pet hair pickup evaluation on carpet. We introduced this assessment recently because some robot vacuums aren’t as good at picking up hair when flattened on carpet.
The P10 picked up about 66% of the hair, where the average is 80%. So it was slightly below average, but perfect with hair pickup on hard floors.
Relatively New Brand
MOVA is a relatively new company, and because it’s new, there are a lot of unknowns. Will it break down? Will the company honor its warranties?
These are some of the things that come to mind and are hard for us to evaluate. That’s why we started incorporating online ratings (e.g., Amazon) as a heavily weighted metric on our Top 20 Robot Vacuums list.
So, if people like a robot vacuum over time, it will rise in our rankings, and if people don’t like it over time, it will fall.
MOVA P10 Pro Ultra Review: conclusion and recommendation
We can confidently say the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum mop combos available in its price range—and possibly the best in terms of value. It offers top-tier cleaning performance, smart obstacle avoidance, an excellent app, and a feature-rich automated dock normally found in much more expensive models.
The bottom line is that if you’re looking for flagship-level features without paying flagship prices, the MOVA P10 Pro Ultra is an easy recommendation.
