Narwal Launches Freo Z10 Turbo Robot Vacuum with Smarter Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

Narwal has announced a new addition to its Freo lineup with the upcoming Freo Z10 Turbo, a robot vacuum and mop that brings several flagship-level features into a more affordable tier. The Freo Z10 Turbo emphasizes carpet cleaning performance, smarter navigation, and hands-free maintenance. It also introduces the highest suction ratings in Narwal’s Freo lineup to date. The model is available for presale ahead of its official May 18 release. T

25,000Pa Suction Powers the Freo Z10 Turbo

One of the biggest highlights of the Freo Z10 Turbo is its 25,000Pa suction power. According to Narwal, the robot uses a redesigned airflow system with a straight-through air duct and a high-speed fan spinning at up to 63,000 RPM to improve debris pickup efficiency while maintaining quieter operation at under 56dB in Quiet Mode.

New Airflow System Designed for Better Carpet Pickup

The new suction system is paired with Narwal’s latest CarpetFocus Technology, which is designed to improve carpet cleaning performance automatically.

When the robot detects carpet, the mop pads automatically lift 12mm off the floor while a brush cover lowers underneath the robot to help seal airflow around the brush roll. Narwal says this focused airflow setup improves deep carpet pickup and overall cleaning efficiency.

Carpet Max Mode Adds Dual-Pass Cleaning

Narwal also says the Freo Z10 Turbo uses intelligent carpet cleaning patterns to improve pickup on different carpet types. The company claims the system can deliver up to a 2x improvement in pickup rates compared to models without CarpetFocus Technology.

Smarter Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

The Freo Z10 Turbo combines LDS laser navigation with upgraded obstacle recognition designed to better navigate around common household items.

Narwal says the robot can identify and avoid more than 100 common object types, including cords, socks, and other clutter that can interfere with robot vacuums. The system is designed to help the robot clean more efficiently without frequent interruptions.

Dual Spinning Mop System Returns with EdgeReach Cleaning

Similar to earlier Freo models, such as as Narwal Freo Z Ultra (see our review), the Freo Z10 Turbo uses Narwal’s dual spinning triangular mop system.

The robot’s right-side mop can extend and swing outward to clean closer along walls, toe-kicks, and corners. Narwal says the system can clean within 5mm of edges with 12N of downward pressure for more consistent scrubbing performance.

DualFlow Tangle-Free System Targets Hair Wrap

The Freo Z10 Turbo also includes Narwal’s DualFlow Tangle-Free cleaning system, which combines an anti-tangle side brush with a cone-shaped floating roller brush. Narwal says the side brush can reverse direction to reach into corners, while the main roller guides hair directly into the dustbin to reduce tangling during cleaning.

The dock supports:

  • hot-water mop washing
  • hot-air mop drying
  • automatic water refilling
  • auto dust emptying
  • automatic detergent dispensing

Narwal says the system can automatically adjust mop washing temperatures between 113°F and 167°F depending on detected dirt levels.
