Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro Overview

The Qrevo Edge 3 Pro is a robot vacuum and mop combo at the premium end of Roborock’s Edge family. It launched around the same time as the Qrevo Edge 2. But despite having similar names, the Edge 3 Pro has a broader feature set and sells at a higher price point. That places it above the Edge 2 in the lineup.

You may also recognize it as the Roborock Saros 20 Neo, which was announced for Europe at IFA 2026. According to Roborock, these are regional names for the same robot.

For our Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 review, we compared its results with studio averages and the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete (a competitor in a similar premium price range). It has held a high spot in our robot vacuum rankings for several weeks at the time of this review.

Vacuuming Performance On Carpet and Hard Floors

Roborock rates the Edge 3 Pro at 36,000 Pa suction. The motor pairs with a floating DuoDivide main brush that has a center split designed to funnel hair toward the intake. The FlexiArm Arc Side Brush extends into corners and is also designed to resist tangles.

Carpet deep cleaning results were a highlight. In this evaluation, we embed sand into medium-pile carpet and measure how much the robot vacuum removes. The Edge 3 Pro picked up 93%, compared with our 78% average and the Dreame X60’s 89%.

That tied it for the third-highest robot vacuum score in our records at the time of this review.

The brush system also worked exactly as we hoped when resisting hair tangles. None of the hair wrapped around the brushes in our 7-inch hair tangle assessment. The Dreame X60 also achieved 0%, while our average was 26%.

In our pet hair pickup evaluation (where we flatten 2.5-inch hair onto carpet), the Edge 3 Pro collected 87.5% of the hair, beating the 82.2% average. That’s a good result, although the Dreame X60 did better with a perfect 100% pickup score.

The Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro and Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete both had 0% hair tangles, compared with a 26% average. Pet hair pickup was 87.5% for the Roborock and 100% for the Dreame, against an 82.2% average.

While the Edge 3 Pro handled debris of different sizes well on both floor types, we noticed a small amount of fine debris scattering on hard floors during the first pass. But it successfully collected that debris on the second pass.

Threshold Crossing and High Pile Carpet

The Edge 3 Pro’s mobility was another major strength. Roborock says its AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 can cross a tiered threshold totaling 88 mm, with a 45 mm first step. It crossed a 57 mm single-step barrier in our studio, matching the previous best result. The Dreame X60 crossed 51 mm in the same type of assessment.

Raised doorway transitions can prevent some robot vacuums from cleaning an entire home without assistance. The Edge 3 Pro performed very well here. © Vacuum Wars

We also tried a 64 mm barrier. The Edge 3 Pro got over it once, but it couldn’t repeat the climb to return to the dock. So 57 mm seems to be the reliable limit for this robot vacuum. However, while the one-time 64 mm crossing isn’t dependable, it’s a good sign the robot will be very mobile (even with difficult or complex room dividers).

Homes with tall thresholds may benefit from the Edge 3 Pro’s lifting chassis, which helps it move between rooms more independently. © Vacuum Wars

For thick carpet, Roborock says the robot vacuum can use chassis lifting and mop removal to handle carpet up to 1.18 inches (about 30 mm). These features, along with its threshold-climbing capabilities, make the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro an appealing option for homes with substantial transitions between rooms.

Navigation and Coverage Per Charge

The Edge 3 Pro uses Roborock’s RetractSense LiDAR. It’s a top-mounted navigation sensor that retracts into the robot’s body when it detects low clearance, helping it reach beneath furniture such as beds and sofas.

It was efficient at getting around, too. The Edge 3 Pro achieved 0.795 square meters per minute, above the 0.711 average and the Dreame X60’s 0.640. So it covered more floor per minute than its closest competitor. And battery efficiency was above average at 1.62 minutes per percentage point of battery. In contrast, the average robot vacuum is 1.56, and the X60 is 1.38.

When we combine navigation and battery efficiency, the Edge 3 Pro delivers an estimated 1,382 square feet per charge. The average is 1,170 square feet, while the X60’s estimate was 951. These results matter if you have a larger floor plan.

Mopping Performance and Water Use

Roborock’s Edge 3 Pro uses dual spinning mop pads and an extending edge-mopping system to reach along walls and furniture. The pads lift 15 mm over carpet, letting the robot clean a mix of hard floors and carpets in a single run without separating vacuuming from mopping. Its dock also refills the onboard water tank with heated water so it can mop your floors with warm water.

Our stain results were mixed, though. It scored 115 points, above the 107.8 average and close to the Dreame X60’s 118 in the regular dried stain evaluation. However, it scored 77 points in the coffee-only assessment, which is below the 93.6 average and well behind the X60’s 136.

As for water usage when mopping, the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro did especially well. Its measurement was 0.30 g, compared with the 1.15 g average and the X60’s 1.50 g. Lower is better here, and we like robots that clean without leaving excessive water behind because that can contribute to streaking as floors dry.

When we combine its stain removal and water penalty scores, the Edge 3 Pro earned a 31.18 mopping score. That’s above the 24.24 average and nearly tied with the Dreame X60’s 31.30. The X60 removed more of the coffee stain, while the Roborock’s lower water usage helped bring their overall mopping scores close together.

Obstacle Avoidance

The Edge 3 Pro combines a single camera with 3D structured light, LED light assist, and Roborock’s VertiBeam Lateral sensors. Roborock says the system can recognize more than 300 object types. It successfully avoided 18 of 24 objects in our obstacle avoidance evaluation, more than the 15.7-object average. The Dreame X60 scored a bit higher, avoiding 22 of 24 objects.

Automated Dock

The multifunctional dock handles much of the routine work between cleaning runs. It empties the robot’s dustbin, washes the mop pads with water up to boiling hot, dries them, refills the onboard water tank, and automatically dispenses detergent.

According to Roborock, mop washing uses water heated to up to 212°F (100°C). The dock also uses high-temperature self-cleaning. Mop drying uses warm air rated at 131°F (55°C) to help dry the pads between uses and reduce lingering dampness and odors.

App and Smart Features

Roborock’s app remains one of our favorites. The interface is intuitive, and it offers plenty of control over cleaning settings, room customization, and schedules.

You can access the robot’s camera through the app, and pet-related features are grouped in a Pet Care Hub. The Qrevo Edge 3 Pro also has an onboard voice assistant, support for third-party voice platforms, and Matter compatibility. There’s lots you can do to fine-tune how the robot vacuum cleans.

Cons of the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro

It can’t all be good, and our Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro review won’t be complete without discussing the cons. A couple of drawbacks are worth considering.

Onboard Dustbin

It has a 240 mL onboard dustbin, which is smaller than our 377 mL average. So homes with lots of pet hair or bulky debris may fill it more quickly. That’s worth considering, even though its brushes resisted hair tangles and picked up debris well.

Running the Edge 3 Pro more frequently and setting its emptying frequency to high can help keep the bin from overfilling. The Dreame X60 also has a small 235 mL bin.

Automatic dust emptying helps offset the smaller bin capacity, although heavy debris loads can still fill it between trips to the dock. © Vacuum Wars

Suction and Airflow

The Edge 3 Pro measured 0.63 kPa in our suction evaluation, which is below the 0.99 kPa average despite its high official suction rating. Airflow was slightly below average at 16 CFM versus 17 CFM. However, those measurements didn’t appear to hold back its cleaning performance. The actual pickup evaluation results were great, so we don’t think it’s a cause for concern.

Suction measured 0.63 kPa for the Roborock and 0.71 kPa for the Dreame, against a 0.99 kPa average. Both robots recorded 16 CFM of airflow, compared with a 17 CFM average.
Suction measurements alone don’t tell you how well a robot will clean, as the Edge 3 Pro’s carpet results demonstrate. © Vacuum Wars

Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro vs Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete

Both robot vacuums were closely matched in our rankings at the time of this review, and the better choice depends on what you need done in your home.

We would lean toward the Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro for homes where carpet deep cleaning, tall room transitions, and efficient coverage are priorities. It removed more embedded sand, crossed a taller single-step threshold, and had a higher estimated coverage per charge.

The Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete has a stronger appeal for homes that prioritize flattened pet hair pickup and obstacle avoidance. It had perfect pet hair pickup results, picking up 22 of 24 obstacles. Its scores in those areas beat the Edge 3 Pro. You can read more in our full Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete review.

Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 Pro Review: Our Verdict

All in all, the Qrevo Edge 3 Pro is our favorite Roborock ever evaluated. We were impressed by how well it cleaned carpet and moved around the home, and its efficient navigation helped it use each charge more effectively.

It finished just ahead of the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete in our rankings, earning a place near the top of our list. The small onboard dustbin is the only main practical limitation. And it doesn’t yet have enough customer feedback to assess longer-term ownership at the time of our Roborock Qrevo Edge 3 review. But early reviews are positive.

Rankings can change as more owner feedback arrives, we assess new products, and we update our scoring system. Visit our current Top 20 Best Robot Vacuums list to see where the Edge 3 Pro stands now.
