At CES 2026, Ecovacs Robotics announced advancements in its robot vacuum and mop technology, introducing new Deebot models and mopping updates designed to further automate everyday floorcare. While floorcare remained the primary focus, the company also showcased a broader range of home service robotics, including window cleaning, lawn care, and pool maintenance solutions.
New Deebot Models Focus on Advanced Mopping
Ecovacs unveiled the Deebot T90 PRO OMNI and the Deebot X12 series, both featuring the company’s latest OZMO Roller 3.0 Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology. The updated system uses a larger roller design and continuous self-cleaning during operation, which Ecovacs says is intended to improve hard-floor cleaning consistency while reducing streaking and residue.

Deebot X12 Series

The Ecovacs Deebot X12 OmniCyclone is a flagship robot vacuum and mop featuring BLAST suction combined with ZeroTangle 4.0 anti-tangle technology for consistent debris pickup, paired with the upgraded OZMO Roller 3.0 system that uses a ~26–27 cm microfiber roller, pressurized self-washing with up to 32 water nozzles, and reduced residual moisture for streak-free floors. It introduces FocusJet stain pre-dissolving technology with high-pressure crossed water jets (around 46,000 Pa) and infrared-based stain detection for targeted cleaning, alongside a smart mop cover and automatic roller lifting (~15 mm) to protect carpets. Edge performance is enhanced by TruEdge 3.0 with a 2.58 cm reach, air-cushion adaptive roller, and TruEdge 3D Edge Sensor 2.0. Navigation relies on AIVI 3D 4.0 obstacle avoidance and AGENT YIKO 2.0 AI for autonomous cleaning plans. The TruePass adaptive 4-wheel drive system improves threshold climbing. Its OmniCyclone dock includes a bagless PureCyclone 2.0 auto-empty system, a 1.6 L dustbin, Quick-clean scraper ring, and fully automated mop washing, drying, and maintenance, supporting up to 48 days of hands-free use and large-area cleaning with PowerBoost Charging Plus.

The Deebot X12 series represents Ecovacs ’ latest flagship floorcare platform, building on its roller-mopping foundation with a series of refinements meant to enhance usability and cleaning results. In addition to updated OZMO Roller 3.0 Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology, the X12 lineup adds a longer roller mop for broader hard-floor coverage, a stain pretreat function for tackling stubborn marks, and a smart mop cover designed to help protect carpets from moisture during mopping cycles. Paired with an OMNI docking station, the X12 series emphasizes hands-free vacuuming and mopping with automated washing, drying, and maintenance.

Deebot T90 PRO OMNI

The Ecovacs T90 Pro Omni impressed in Vacuum Wars testing as one of the brand’s best-performing robots to date, combining powerful vacuuming, excellent mopping, and premium automation features. Powered by Ecovacs’ latest Blast technology, it delivers a claimed 30,000Pa suction level and achieved airflow and debris pickup results well above average, including excellent carpet deep-cleaning performance. In pet hair testing, it earned a rare 100% pickup score versus the 82% average, while its ZeroTangle 4.0 brush system also achieved a perfect score in seven-inch hair tangle tests. Obstacle avoidance was another standout, successfully avoiding 23 of 24 objects in testing. The Osmo Roller 3.0 mopping system scored 157 points in dried stain tests, nearly 50% above average, giving it the second-highest combined mopping score ever recorded by Vacuum Wars. Additional pros include Matter compatibility, hot-water mop washing, fast charging, strong battery efficiency, and a low-profile embedded LiDAR design. The main drawback was its very small 250ml dustbin, roughly 30% smaller than average, though frequent auto-emptying helps reduce the issue. Navigation efficiency was slightly above average and threshold crossing reached 32mm though navigation quirks still occasionally appeared during testing sessions. See additional info

Positioned just below the flagship tier, the Deebot T90 PRO OMNI brings many of Ecovacs’ advanced floorcare features into a more accessible package. It uses OZMO Roller mopping technology and an OMNI dock to automate mop cleaning and drying, and it introduces PowerBoost Charging, which allows the robot to recharge and resume cleaning within longer cycles to reduce downtime. Ecovacs framed the T90 PRO OMNI as a balance between performance and convenience, targeting users who want advanced mopping and automation without stepping into the highest price tier.

OZMO ROLLER 3.0 Reflects Broader Industry Trends
Roller-style mopping systems have become a key area of competition in the robot vacuum market as manufacturers move beyond traditional pad-based designs. At CES 2026, Ecovacs positioned OZMO Roller 3.0 as an incremental refinement, focusing on improved coverage and reduced manual maintenance rather than dramatic performance claims.
