ECOVACS DEEBOT X12S OmniCyclone Set to Launch With OZMO Roller 3.0 and Bagless Dock

ECOVACS is adding a new robot vacuum and mop to its X-series lineup following the 2026 Flagship, the X12 OmniCyclone (see our review). The X12s OmniCyclone combines 27,000 Pa BLAST suction, an updated OZMO Roller 3.0 mopping system, ECOVACS’ pre-spray jet feature for stains, obstacle avoidance, threshold climbing, and a bagless OmniCyclone self-emptying station.

27,000 Pa BLAST Suction and ZeroTangle 4.0

Vacuuming is handled by ECOVACS’ BLAST suction system, rated at 27,000 Pa and 53 air watts. This is a big jump over the X12’s official suction of 22,000 Pa. The X12S also uses ZeroTangle 4.0, which is designed to reduce hair wrapping around both the main brush and side brush.

OZMO Roller 3.0 with Pre-Spray and Carpet Shield

The X12S continues to use ECOVACS’ OZMO roller-style mopping system, with the OZMO Roller 3.0 continuously washing the mop with fresh water while removing dirty water as it cleans. Key specifications and features include:

TruEdge 3.0 extends the roller toward walls and furniture for edge cleaning
10.6-inch roller with 32 fresh-water outlets
220 RPM roller speed

Carpet Shield lifts the wet roller 0.59 inches and encloses it behind a protective shield when carpet is detected

TruePass Climbing and AIVI 3D 4.0 Obstacle Avoidance

The X12S includes ECOVACS’ TruePass adaptive climbing system for navigating thresholds and other floor transitions. For obstacle avoidance, the robot uses AIVI 3D 4.0, a camera-powered obstacle avoidance which ECOVACS says can recognize and navigate around common household objects such as cables.

PowerBoost Plus Battery Charge During Mop Washing

An interesting feature that we really liked when we reviewed it on the X12 is PowerBoost Plus, which allows the X12S to partially recharge while its roller is being washed at the dock.

ECOVACS says the system can replenish up to 13% of the robot’s battery during a three-minute roller wash. The idea is to use time the robot would already spend maintaining its mop to extend cleaning sessions without requiring a longer dedicated charging stop.

This is useful in larger homes or when using more power-intensive cleaning settings like high suction on carpets.

OmniCyclone Dock Eliminates Disposable Dust Bags

The X12S’s OmniCyclone station uses a bagless self-emptying system rather than the disposable dust bags found in many robot vacuum docks. ECOVACS calls the system PureCyclone, which separates debris into a reusable dust container that can be emptied rather than replaced.

The station also handles much of the robot’s mopping maintenance. It washes the roller using temperature-controlled hot water and dries it with air heated to 145°F. A big change over the station for the X12 is that the mop cleaning tray self-cleans with a high-pressure rinse cycle, reducing the need to wash the tray by hand.

Other automated functions include cleaning-solution dispensing, dirty-water management, station self-cleaning, and airway drying.
