Its crevice pickup was a strength, while hard-floor and carpet pickup were slightly below average because the floorhead tended to snowplow larger debris. Maximum-power runtime reached 19.1 minutes compared with a 13.5-minute average, and the manufacturer rates Eco mode for up to 70 minutes. Airflow and Suction
One of the biggest surprises with the JELLYPIG X100 was its power. Its airflow measurements were close to the cordless vacuum average, with 41 CFM at the wand and 37 CFM at the cleaner head. Sealed suction was much more impressive. The X100 reached 120 inches of water lift, which was the 4th-highest sealed suction measurement we’ve recorded for a cordless vacuum at the time of this review.
It almost tied the Shark PowerDetect Speed Clean & Empty, which earned 122 inches of water lift. That’s an unusually strong result for a vacuum in its price range.
The X100 also performed well in our crevice pickup evaluation, where we measure how effectively a vacuum can pull debris from gaps and joints in hard flooring. It even beat our current best value pick, the Levoit LVAC-200.
Pickup Performance
Overall pickup on hard floors and carpets was very good, especially for this price range. The main limitation was some snowplowing of larger debris. This happens when the front of the cleaner head pushes debris forward rather than allowing it underneath the floorhead. But its general cleaning ability was respectable for a budget model,
Battery Life
This is another area where the JELLYPIG X100 cordless stick vacuum has a lot going for it. Battery life was great all-around.
JELLYPIG advertises up to 70 minutes of runtime in Eco mode. And the X100 ran for 19.1 minutes on Max power during evaluation. That compares favorably with the cordless vacuum average of about 13.5 minutes.
When we combine runtime with airflow, the JELLYPIG X100 also showed good battery efficiency. So it provides a strong combination of cleaning power and usable runtime rather than sacrificing one for the other.

Sealed Filtration
Filtration can be a weak point on inexpensive cordless vacuums, but the JELLYPIG X100 performed perfectly. It passed our fog evaluation without visible fog escaping from the vacuum. That means fine particles were staying contained rather than leaking through gaps in the housing.
Effective sealed filtration has historically been less common among lower-priced cordless vacuums, so this is a big win for homes.
Dustbin and Self-Standing Design
The JELLYPIG X100 has an unusually large 1,800 mL dustbin. For comparison, the average cordless vacuum in our database has a dustbin capacity of around 746 mL. A larger-capacity dustbin means fewer interruptions to empty it, especially in larger homes or when you’re cleaning substantial amounts of debris.
We also like the self-standing design. Most cordless stick vacuums need to be leaned against a wall, placed in a dock, or laid on the floor when you stop cleaning. The X100 can stand upright on its own, making it easier to pause during a cleaning session or store the vacuum between uses.

As mentioned, one reason we decided to review the JELLYPIG X100 was its unusually positive customer response. It had a 4.6-star rating on Amazon with nearly 6,500 reviews at the time of this review. And only around 4% of those reviews were one-star ratings.
That’s noteworthy for a budget cordless vacuum under $200 and helps explain why the X100 has become such a strong seller. But customer reviews don’t tell the entire story, which is why we wanted to see how the vacuum performed in our evaluations.
Cons of the JELLYPIG X100
This cordless stick vacuum gets a lot right for the price, but there are a few meaningful compromises. The biggest concerns were usable suction, carpet deep cleaning, weight, and hair-tangle performance.
Unsealed Suction and Carpet Deep Clean
The X100’s biggest weakness was usable or unsealed suction. While its sealed suction measurement was extremely high, usable suction at the cleaner head came in below average. The amount of suction that reaches the floor can affect deep cleaning performance.
As expected, that weakness showed up during our carpet deep clean evaluation. The X100 removed 80% of embedded sand in the medium-pile carpet we use for assessments, compared with our current cordless vacuum average of about 93%.
That doesn’t mean it can’t clean carpets. But homes with a lot of carpeting or where deep carpet cleaning is a priority may benefit from a stronger option.
Cordless Vacuum Weight
The X100 is somewhat heavier than the average cordless vacuum. Its handle weight measured about 1,812 grams, or roughly 4 pounds, compared with an average closer to 1,512 grams.
The difference isn’t enormous during normal floor cleaning, where the cleaner head supports much of the vacuum’s weight. It may be more noticeable when using the X100 for above-floor jobs such as furniture, shelves, or curtains.
Hair Tangle Performance
This cordless vacuum has an anti-tangle brush roll, but it doesn’t use an active hair-removal mechanism like some more expensive models. So results with long hair were slightly below average.
Still, tangling varied between runs and was relatively minor. That’s why we don’t consider this a major weakness. Nevertheless, keep it in mind if your home deals with significant amounts of long hair.
JELLYPIG as a Brand
The biggest unknown isn’t necessarily the cordless vacuum itself. It’s the brand behind it. JELLYPIG is much newer and less established than companies such as Shark, Dyson, Bissell, or Hoover. That means there’s less long-term information available about durability, replacement parts, warranty support, and customer service.
Even though the X100’s current owner reviews are encouraging, we’ll still watch long-term reliability as more people own this model.

Its usable suction and carpet deep cleaning performance weren’t as good as we’d ideally like to see. The handle is also a little heavy, and JELLYPIG doesn’t yet have the long-term track record of major vacuum brands. But those shortcomings don’t outweigh everything the JELLYPIG X100 gets right.
