Levoit AERO Cordless Vacuum Debuts with Auto-Empty Base and Anti-Tangle Brush

Levoit, the brand behind some of the best-selling air purifiers on the market, has launched the Levoit AERO cordless stick vacuum, its first auto-empty vacuum cleaner. It’s built to deliver easy, mess-free cleaning with advanced dust management and anti-tangle brush technology.

The Levoit Aero is a mid-range stick vacuum designed for hard floors and carpets, featuring an auto-empty charging station that transfers debris from its bagless bin into a disposable bag at the base, along with a sealed HEPA filtration system that showed zero leakage in testing. It delivers excellent surface debris pickup—even handling large debris without snowplowing—and above-average deep carpet cleaning performance, earning high marks overall. Battery life is rated up to 70 minutes on low, with about 18 minutes on max (roughly 25–30 minutes on medium), plus a real-time digital battery display and removable/replaceable batteries. Its attachment set is a standout, including a motorized upholstery tool, dusting brush, crevice tool, and a rare hose for easier above-floor cleaning. Downsides include below-average suction and airflow in lab tests, weaker crevice performance, some hair buildup near the brush axle despite anti-tangle combs, and a heavier-than-average handle. Overall, it’s a strong performer with premium convenience features, though not the most powerful option.See additional info

Building on its experience in air purification, Levoit has equipped the AERO with a suite of smart cleaning technologies designed for everyday use. Its TripleStrike™ Anti-Tangle Brush helps prevent hair wrap, while the sealed HEPA filtration system captures fine dust and allergens. An auto-empty base keeps maintenance hands-free, and the long-lasting battery life supports extended cleaning sessions. Together, these features position the Levoit AERO as one of the most convenient new cordless vacuum cleaners from the brand.

The Levoit AERO Cordless Vacuum: Advanced Cleaning Technology

TripleStrike™ Anti-Tangle Brush System

At the heart of the Levoit AERO vacuum is the TripleStrike™ Anti-Tangle technology, which uses three coordinated brush actions to loosen, lift, and capture debris while preventing hair wrap around the roller. This design is especially useful for homes with pets or long hair, where tangling is a frequent frustration with many cordless vacuum cleaners.

How We Test Cordless Vacuums

Vacuum Wars purchases the products we review independently and does not accept paid sponsorships. We evaluate cordless vacuums using standardized studio tests conducted under consistent category conditions. These evaluations include debris pickup, carpet cleaning, suction, filtration, hair resistance, battery performance, usability, noise, and other ownership-related factors. HEPA Filtration for Cleaner Air

Levoit integrates its air-quality expertise into the AERO with a fully sealed HEPA filtration system that captures fine dust and allergens during cleaning. The multi-stage design prevents particles from escaping back into the air — a feature that aligns with Levoit’s heritage in air purification.

A five-stage HEPA filtration system captures 99.99% of particles down to 0.3 microns, helping maintain cleaner indoor air.

Auto-Empty Base for Convenient Maintenance

The AERO’s auto-empty base automatically transfers collected debris from the vacuum’s dustbin into a sealed bag when docked, reducing the need for frequent manual emptying and dust exposure. This hands-free debris management feature is a convenient addition for stick cordless vacuums in this price range.

Extended Battery Life

Levoit reports that the AERO provides up to 60 minutes of runtime on a single charge, depending on the cleaning mode used. That runtime places it among the longer-lasting cordless vacuum cleaners in its class, capable of covering larger areas without interruption.

Designed for Everyday Simplicity

The AERO emphasizes ease of use: its lightweight construction, one-touch controls, and self-standing design make it ideal for quick daily cleans and deep-cleaning sessions. A smart LED display shows suction level and battery status, while the vacuum automatically adjusts power based on floor type.

We were pleased to see that the Levoit AERO Vacuum includes an extension hose for detailed handheld cleaning. It’s an accessory we’ve praised before in our article, “The Dyson Cordless Vacuum Accessory Every Model Should Include”. We have found that this type of attachment dramatically increases versatility, making it easier to clean furniture, vents, and tight corners.

Levoit’s Expansion Beyond Air Purifiers

Levoit has built its reputation on household air-quality products like the Core 400S and Core 600S, two of the best-selling air purifiers on Amazon. With the Levoit AERO vacuum, the company continues to broaden its smart-home ecosystem while bringing its filtration expertise to floor care.
