Narwal has unveiled its fall 2026 cleaning lineup at IFA in Berlin, led by two new Freo-series robot vacuums that bring the company’s FlowWash track-mopping system to lower price points. The lineup includes the recently released Narwal Freo 20 and the upcoming Freo 20 Edge, along with the V50 Cube cordless vacuum and a preview of two wet/dry vacuums expected to launch in Europe in 2027.
Narwal Brings FlowWash Mopping to the Freo 20 Series
The biggest development for Narwal’s robot vacuum lineup is the expansion of its FlowWash Mopping System beyond the flagship Flow series.
Instead of spinning mop pads, FlowWash uses a flattened track-style mop that is continuously cleaned while the robot is running. A 16-nozzle system applies water while a scraper removes dirty water and debris. Narwal says the system can use water heated to 140°F (60°C) and applies 12N of downward pressure.

Both new Freo models combine FlowWash with 31,000 Pa of claimed suction, Narwal’s DualFlow anti-tangle system, and EdgeReach cleaning.
| Specification | Freo 20 | Freo 20 Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Suction | 31,000 Pa | 31,000 Pa |
| Mopping | FlowWash | FlowWash |
| Navigation and obstacle avoidance | Dual RGB cameras, AI recognition of 300+ objects | Hidden dToF LiDAR navigation; dual-sided 3D structured-light obstacle avoidance |
| Height | 9.5 cm / 3.7 in | 9.5 cm / 3.7 in |
| MSRP | $1,099.99 | $799.99 |
| U.S. availability | Available now | September 7 |
The Freo 20 (Amazon Link) uses Narwal’s NarMind Pro system with dual RGB cameras. Narwal says it can recognize more than 300 types of household objects. See our earlier coverage of the Narwal Freo 20 release.
The less expensive Freo 20 Edge (Amazon Link) drops the camera-based AI object recognition in favor of hidden dToF LiDAR and dual-sided structured-light 3D navigation. Its dock provides automatic dust emptying and dries the mop with 113°F (45°C) air.

Narwal V50 Cube Adds an Auto-Empty Dock to a Cordless Vacuum
Narwal is also showing the V50 Cube, a lightweight cordless vacuum paired with a compact auto-empty dock.
The vacuum weighs 1.4 kg, or about 3.1 pounds, and is rated at 210 air watts of suction. Its dock automatically empties the vacuum and uses a nine-stage filtration system.
Narwal has not yet announced U.S. pricing or availability for the V50 Cube.

Narwal Previews Two Wet/Dry Vacuums for 2027
Narwal is also previewing two unnamed wet-dry vacuums, identified in its materials as Essential and Flagship models. Both are currently planned for a European launch in 2027.
Both models have 25,000 Pa of claimed suction, can lie flat to 180 degrees, offer three-sided edge cleaning, and use docks that wash and dry their rollers.
| Specification | Essential | Flagship |
|---|---|---|
| Suction | 25,000 Pa / 89 AW | 25,000 Pa / 89 AW |
| Downward pressure | 20N | 33N |
| Floor cleaning | Wet/dry | Hot water + steam |
| Runtime | Up to 30 min | Up to 60 min; 20 min steam |
| Battery | 2,600 mAh | 4,000 mAh |
| Roller maintenance | 90°C wash and dry | 95°C hot-water wash, steam, 90°C dry |
The Essential model uses a dual-comb system for hair removal and includes Standard, Suction, and Max cleaning modes.
The Flagship model adds AI DirtSense, automatic cleaning-solution dispensing, a floating scraper for hair removal, and dedicated Steam and Hot Water modes. Narwal lists a maximum steam-source temperature of 400°C (752°F) and says the machine uses water heated to 95°C (203°F) for floor cleaning.
Narwal says the dock uses hot water and a separate 400°C steam source to clean the roller, followed by drying at 90°C.

Final product names, pricing, and U.S. availability for the wet/dry vacuums have not yet been announced.
Narwal’s IFA announcements show the company expanding in two directions: bringing technology from its flagship robot vacuums into more affordable models while moving further into manually operated floor-care products.
