Eureka has introduced the PowerSpeed Anti-Tangle E2, a new corded upright vacuum designed for homes with pets and mixed flooring. The new model pairs a traditional upright design with an anti-tangle brush roll intended to reduce hair wrap, along with a large bagless dust cup, multiple floor-height settings, and pet-focused cleaning tools.

The Eureka PowerSpeed Anti-Tangle E2 is a corded bagless upright designed for pet hair and mixed-floor cleaning. Eureka lists an anti-tangle brush roll, five-position floor-height adjustment, a 960-watt motor, a 2.6-liter dust cup, and onboard pet tools. Vacuum Wars has not tested this model yet. Anti-Tangle Brush Roll and Pet Tools
The standout feature is the E2’s anti-tangle brush roll, which is designed to help keep long hair and pet fur from wrapping around the roller during cleaning.
The vacuum also includes a Pet Turbo Brush for upholstery, stairs, and other above-floor cleaning tasks.
Adjustable for Different Floor Types
The PowerSpeed E2 uses a five-position height adjustment system, allowing users to change the floorhead height depending on the surface being cleaned.
That makes it somewhat more traditional than many newer uprights with fixed-height floorheads, but it also gives users more control when moving between hard floors, rugs, and different carpet types.
Large Bagless Dust Cup
The E2 also features a 2.6-liter bagless dust cup, providing relatively high debris capacity for a lightweight upright.
Eureka’s broader PowerSpeed lineup similarly emphasizes large-capacity bins, lightweight designs, and adjustable floorheads for multi-surface cleaning. Eureka US
The E2 uses a washable foam filter rather than a sealed HEPA filtration system, so filtration performance is one area we would want to evaluate in our own testing.
Vacuum Wars Take
The PowerSpeed Anti-Tangle E2 looks like a pet-focused update to Eureka’s established PowerSpeed formula, with the anti-tangle brush roll being the most notable addition.
We have not yet tested the E2 at Vacuum Wars, so we’ll be interested to see how it performs in our studio evaluations, particularly for carpet deep cleaning, hair tangles, usable suction, and filtration.
