This guide explains the practical differences between Dreame robot vacuum and mop combos, organized by price and generation—from older, budget-friendly models to the latest premium devices. We focus on the features that Dreame builds into every model and then look at how each series adds more advanced functions. Our aim is to help you decide which series and which model best fits your cleaning needs.
Dreame Series Overview
Dreame has five active series: the D series, the L series, the X series, the Aqua10, and the Matrix10. Model numbers generally indicate where a product family sits within a series, with higher numbers usually corresponding to newer or more advanced families. However, refreshes and variants can break that pattern, so the exact model name matters as much as the number.
The D series is the entry level series. The D series got a refresh with the recent 2025 Dreame Product release with more advanced suction, anti-tangle brushes, and other upgrades. Jump to D Series
The L series has the widest range of prices and feature combinations in Dreame’s lineup, spanning lower mid-range models through premium configurations. It includes the L10s family, the L20 Ultra, L40 and L40s families, the L50 Ultra, and the newer L60 family. Some newer L robots carry many of the advanced features found on the premium X series, sometimes with comparable price tags. Jump to L Series
The X series is Dreame’s flagship premium series and is where the company typically introduces its most advanced navigation, obstacle avoidance, threshold-climbing, brush, mopping, and dock technologies. X-series robots have repeatedly reached the No. 1 position in our Top 20 robot vacuum rankings in recent years. Jump to X Series
The Aqua10 series, released late in 2025, is Dreame’s first robot vacuum with a rolling mop system. Kitted out with some of the biggest advancements in Dreame Technology, the Aqua10 series is currently made up of 2 models. Jump to Aqua10.
The Matrix10 was announced alongside the Aqua10 models in 2025. With a unique multi-pad mopping system managed in the dock, the Matrix10 is the most advanced Dreame robot to date. This category has only one model so far. Jump to Matrix10.
Evolution of the Mopping Design
For a long while, Dreame maintained a consistent cleaning strategy. The first major change came with the L series, which introduced dual rotary mopheads in place of the older plate mop, which has to be manually removed and cleaned between uses. This switch to spinning mopheads opened the door to extending mop heads, automatically detaching mop heads, and mop maintenance in the dock, dramatically increasing hands-free cleaning.
Core Technologies
- Vormax™ Suction System: All Dreame models use this trademarked suction technology. The suction power climbs with the robot lineup as each new generation improves performance.
- Mopping/Vacuum Combo: All current robots in the Dreame brand have a mopping ability, but the entry level D series lacks certain automations.
- Brush Systems: Dreame uses three main brush approaches: a single rubber brush, the TriCut anti-tangle brush, and the HyperStream DuoBrush. In our testing, the DuoBrush has been the strongest overall design for resisting hair tangles, while TriCut is a useful upgrade over the basic single rubber brush.
- Pathfinder Smart Navigation: Dreame robots use LiDAR-based mapping and multi‑floor route planning to cover your home efficiently.
- App Control & Voice Integration: Each model supports control via the DreameHome app and is compatible with third‑party voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant.
Naming Conventions
Dreame model names are best read as a simple family tree: series letter + family number + dock or variant designation. The series letter identifies the lineup, the number identifies the product family, and names such as Plus, Ultra, Pro Ultra, Master, Gen 2, AE, CE, FE, or PE indicate dock configurations, refreshes, or variants. This is especially important in the L series, where similarly named models can have substantially different hardware and smart features.
- “Max” and “Complete” generally indicate especially feature-rich configurations, but Dreame does not use these terms consistently enough to treat them as a strict tier in the naming hierarchy.
- “Pro” refers to an enhanced version of a robot model. If a robot is named a “Pro” only, then it doesn’t include a dock.
- “Plus” includes a dock with an auto-empty dustbin.
- “Ultra” includes a dock with an auto-empty dustbin and mop-washing.
- “Pro Ultra” means an enhanced version of a robot with a dustbin-emptying and mop-washing “ultra” dock.
- “Master” indicates that the dock is integrated into the plumbing of your house without its own water tanks.
- “s” (as in L10s or L40s): Dreame tags “s” at the end of a family name to mark a sub-generation refresh, typically including upgrades to the robot’s intelligence or hardware.
Dreame also uses cryptic letters for some variants, such as AE, CE, FE, and PE, and those suffixes do not reliably tell you whether a model is more or less advanced. A variant is not necessarily a stripped-down version of the base model, and a Gen 2 model is not automatically an upgrade in every respect. We recommend comparing the exact model’s brush system, obstacle avoidance, dock functions, and other hardware rather than shopping by model number or suffix alone.
Which Dreame Main Brush Is Best?
Based on our studio testing, the HyperStream DuoBrush is the strongest of Dreame’s three main brush designs for hair management, with an almost perfect record in our hair-tangle testing and strong results removing pet hair flattened into carpet.
The TriCut is a useful step up from the basic single rubber brush because it slices long hair before it can wrap around the roller. A robot designed for a single rubber brush can often be upgraded to a TriCut, but it cannot simply be converted to a DuoBrush because the brush housing is different.
Dreame D Series: Entry Level Models
Dreame D Series Overview
The D series represents Dreame’s entry level models. The earlier models in the D series are your ‘no-frills, just clean the floor’ option. Starting with the D20 models, the series becomes more automated and feature-rich, with prices rising with the feature set.
In recent generations, Dreame has expanded the D-series significantly, and newer models sometimes overlap in features and pricing. Some models prioritize suction power, while others focus on obstacle avoidance or dock automation, so the “best” D-series model depends heavily on your home layout and maintenance preferences.
Budget Does Not Necessarily Mean Weak Pickup
In our studio testing, the budget D20 Plus earned one of our five highest carpet sand-cleaning scores to date. Moving up the Dreame lineup is often more about added automation, obstacle avoidance, mopping, and dock features than simply basic pickup ability.

Dreame D30 Ultra
Vacuum Wars Stars 3.29
The Dreame D30 Ultra adds an all-in-one dock and automated mopping to Dreame’s entry-level D series. It delivered strong debris pickup, above-average carpet deep cleaning, efficient navigation, and excellent battery efficiency. However, obstacle avoidance was weak, mopping was best suited to light cleaning, and pet-hair pickup fell below average. It is a practical option for larger homes that prioritize efficient vacuuming over advanced mopping or pet-hair performance. See additional info

Dreame D30 Ultra CE
The Dreame D30 Ultra CE brings together dual spinning mops, LiDAR mapping, and a dock that empties debris, washes and dries the mop pads, and cleans its washboard. Dreame rates suction at 25,000 Pa, while automatic mop lifting helps with transitions onto carpets. Multi-floor maps, no-go zones, and app scheduling offer control over where and when it cleans. Its mop pads are fixed, and the optional TriCut hair-cutting brush is sold separately. Vacuum Wars has not published studio test results for this model. See additional info

Dreame D20 Air Plus
The Dreame D20 Air Plus is an entry-level robot vacuum and mop in Dreame’s D series. Dreame lists 20,000Pa of suction, LiDAR navigation, an anti-tangle bristle brush, and a self-emptying dock with a 4L dust bag rated for up to 120 days between changes. Vacuum Wars has not yet tested this model, so these are manufacturer-listed features rather than our studio results. See additional info

Dreame D20+
· avg tested 2.60
The Dreame D20+ is a robot vacuum-mop combo with a self-emptying dock, LiDAR navigation, and an anti-tangle DuoBrush roller. In Vacuum Wars testing, it performed especially well in navigation, battery efficiency, and overall vacuuming performance. It also supports editable maps, virtual barriers, carpet boost, adjustable mopping water levels, and app or voice control. Its mopping system is more basic than the premium Dreame models, but for straightforward vacuuming and automated debris emptying, the D20+ delivered strong results in our studio evaluations. See additional info

Dreame D20 Pro Plus
The Dreame D20 Pro Plus combines a claimed 13,000Pa suction system with an anti-tangle DuoBrush, an extending side brush for improved edge reach, LiDAR navigation, and 3D structured-light obstacle avoidance. Its dock automatically empties the robot’s dustbin, while the robot also supports mopping, multi-level mapping, virtual barriers, no-go zones, app controls, and third-party voice assistants. See additional info
Dreame D Series Features
D Series Navigation
Navigation is handled with LiDAR sensors (trademarked as “Pathfinder Navigation”) and basic obstacle detection. They use an impact plate sensor (which means it may gently bump into stuff before it senses anything, then moves along or around the obstacle until it senses the path is open again).
The new D20 Pro Plus, which was released in mid-2025 with the addition of 3D structured light obstacle avoidance, followed in early 2026 with the D30 Ultra and D30 Ultra CE. These are the only D-series models with a dedicated Obstacle Avoidance System.
D Series Mopping
Budget D series models use a plate mop system. This mop pad is pulled behind the robot, while the water tank replenishes the water in the pad at 3 adjustable rates of flow. The plate mop has to be removed and cleaned between uses, and it will not lift over carpets, so you will need to do separate runs for mopping and vacuuming.

The D30 Ultra and its variant D30 Ultra CE is unique, having the most automated mopping system in the D-series so far. It features:
- dual rotary mops (DuoScrub)
- MopExtend edge reach
- 10.5mm mop lift
- dock washing + drying + water tanks
On Mop Automation
In our opinion, one of the biggest direct effects on the user experience of having a robot vacuum/mop combo is having to manually remove and clean mop pads yourself. A plate mop will do a fine job of mopping your floor, but you have to add or remove the pad and conduct different runs for mopping and vacuuming, which can become a hassle in a home with a lot of transitions between hard floors and carpets.
If this sounds too hands-on for you, consider the D30 Ultra and D30 Ultra CE, or a model in the L series starting at the L10s Ultra, where the mop washing and drying, detergent dispensing, and tank refilling is handled for you in the dock. Jump to L series
D Series Brushes
Many D-series models have a fixed side brush and a “Floating” all-rubber main brush. This brush lifts over carpet and other obstacles to prevent battering the brush or getting stuck. The single rubber brush can be swapped out for the TriCut Anti-Tangle brush which is sold separately. The TriCut slices long hair before it can tangle around the brush and is a good option for households that have a lot of long hair.

The D30 Ultra includes the TriCut brush, while other TriCut-compatible D-models must purchase it separately.
The D20 Plus and D20 Pro Plus exchanged the single brush with the DuoBrush that had been previously reserved for the premium Dreame robots. This was a huge change for the D series, allowing the D20 Plus to manage hair tangles out of the box without purchasing a TriCut add-on.
The D20 Pro Plus and D30 Ultra include an extending side brush and edge sensors to reach into corners.

D series Docks
Early members in the D-series does not have much in the way of docking features. The D9 Max Gen 2 has no dock at all, and the D10 Plus Gen 2 and the D20 models have an auto emptying dustbin that empties into a bag in the dock.
Docking became more robust with the D30 Ultra and D30 Ultra CE, and its “Ultra” dock handles mop washing and drying as well as emptying the dustbin and filling the robot’s onboard water tank.
Dreame D Series Models
The D9 Max Gen 2 model comes without a dock: it has a charger only and a larger dustbin to accommodate the greater accumulation of dust. It also has a larger-capacity water tank on board the robot. The robot’s dustbin must be emptied manually.

The D10 Plus Gen 2 model has a smaller water tank than the D9 Max Gen 2 and a smaller dustbin on board the robot. The dustbin is emptied automatically into its accompanying dock, which they claim can go up to 90 days before needing maintenance.
The new D20 Plus and D20 Pro Plus make a significant leap in official suction over the older D models, more than doubling it to 13,000Pa.The D20 Air Plus has a higher official suction rate at 20,000 Pa. The D30 Ultra and D30 Ultra CE increased the official suction again with 25,000Pa. The D20 Pro Plus and D30 Ultra also have a carpet boost feature, which increases suction when it senses carpet.

Dreame L Series: Mid‑Range Models and Advances in Mopping and Automation
Dreame L Series Overview
The L series moves away from plate mops and introduces dual rotary mop heads, which provide a scrubbing action that the plate mops lack. These models also feature better navigation, enhanced obstacle avoidance, and more advanced docking stations that can empty dustbins and take care of mop maintenance. These models lift their mops over carpet, so you don’t have to do separate mop and vacuum runs, greatly enhancing automation.
The Dreame L series includes six major families or refresh groups: the L10s, L20, L40, L40s, L50, and L60. The L10s family has multiple members, and the later L40 and L60 families also include variants with meaningful differences in hardware and smart features. The naming conventions listed above are especially important when comparing L-series models.
All models in the L series except for the L10s Pro Gen 2 have an auto empty dustbin (the L10s Pro Gen 2 has no dock, only a charger), and the L10s Plus is the only robot with a dock that does not have automated mop washing. All L models with mop maintenance (an ‘Ultra’ dock) include Auto Detergent Dispensing.
In spring of 2026, Dreame introduced 4 new L-series models, the L60 Pro Ultra, L60 Ultra, L60 Ultra PE, and L60 Ultra FE. The L60 lineup introduces dramatically higher suction power, 100°C ThermoHub mop cleaning, updated DuoBrush systems, and advanced smart-home integration.
Don’t Shop the L Series by Model Number Alone
Two robots in the same family can be very different. For example, the L60 Pro Ultra and L60 Ultra FE differ substantially in smart features and hardware, and Dreame’s variant suffixes do not create a dependable good-better-best hierarchy. Check the exact brush, o
bstacle-avoidance system, dock functions, and other features for the model you are considering.

Dreame L Series Features
L series Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance
All L series models use Pathfinder LiDAR navigation with some improvements over the D series. LiDAR combines with 3D structured light for more effective obstacle avoidance, and higher-level models incorporate additional sensors, AI, and a RGB camera for obstacle recognition. The L40 Ultra, the L40s Ultra AE, and the new L60 Pro Ultra and L60 Ultra represent the most advanced navigation systems in the L lineup, combining LiDAR, RGB cameras, AI object recognition, LED lighting, and advanced depth sensing for obstacle avoidance and low-light navigation.

A Word About Cameras
RGB cameras see the spectrum of light that is visible to humans and are widely used in phones and other consumer electronics. In Dreame robots, they are an important part of the brand’s more advanced obstacle-avoidance systems. In our testing, camera-based systems generally perform better at recognizing and avoiding small objects, especially when the camera is paired with structured light and LED illumination. LiDAR navigation and obstacle avoidance are separate capabilities: a robot can map and navigate a home well while still having relatively limited small-object avoidance.

The rest of the L series and all of the X series have RGB cameras and their accompanying app features like remote video monitoring.
L series Mopping
As noted before, the Dreame L series makes a big shift from plate mop to dual rotary mopheads, which are two mop pads that spin in opposite directions for a scrubbing action, where the previous D series only used a plate mophead. This greatly increased the automation possible for mopping. These mops lift over carpet, at first only 7mm in the L10s Pro Gen 2, the L10s Plus, and the L10s Ultra, then 10.5mm from the L10s Ultra Gen 2 and onward.

Dual spinning mopheads also allowed for the possibility of automatic mophead detaching, which is first seen on the L20 Ultra and continues through the lineup. We also see:
- MopExtend Technology: Automatically extends the mop pad laterally to clean edges and corners more thoroughly.
- RoboSwing Technology: Provides an active swinging motion to help clean under low furniture and in tight spaces. (Note that some L models, such as the L10s Ultra Gen 2, may only offer MopExtend without the RoboSwing function.)

L series Brushes
As in the D series, early L series models have a fixed side brush. The L40 Ultra, the L40s Ultra, the L50 Ultra, and the L60 series have an extending, lifting side brush to reach deeper into corners.
There are three main brush types. The L series robots have a “Floating” all-rubber main brush that lifts over carpet and other obstacles to prevent battering.
The single rubber brush can be swapped out for the TriCut Anti-Tangle brush which is usually sold separately. The TriCut slices long hair before it can tangle around the brush and is a good addition for users with pets or household members with long hair. The L40s Ultra AE and L40s Ultra CE both ship with a TriCut brush, and the L40s Ultra and the L50 Ultra have the detangling DuoBrush that used to be only available on the X series.

L series Docks
Except for the L10s Pro Gen 2 (no dock) and the L10s Plus (with only dustbin emptying), all other L models now come with docks that empty the dustbin AND wash and dry the mop pads with a range of days estimated for hands-off maintenance. Some newer models use hot water for faster and more sanitary mop-washing (see table below).
CleanGenius™ dirt detection first appears in the L10s Pro Ultra and becomes standard on Dreame robot vacuums from then on. This technology senses dirt in the dock. If the mop pads are especially dirty, the robot will trigger a rewash of the area where the excess dirt was detected.
Fast Charging is introduced on the L10s Ultra Gen 2 and becomes a standard feature.
Washboard Cleaning, where the part of the dock that cleans the mop pads also cleans itself, first appears on the L40 and becomes a standard dock feature in the X series.
The L60 series further upgrades Dreame’s dock automation with the new 8-in-1 PowerDock system, AceClean™ DryBoard self-cleaning technology, and ThermoHub™ 100°C mop self-cleaning.

Special Feature: Threshold clearing
How to Read Threshold Claims
A conventional robot vacuum is generally designed for thresholds around 20 mm, or a little under an inch. Dreame’s much larger advertised figures on newer models often refer to tiered or double-layer thresholds, such as sliding-door tracks, rather than one single vertical step. The maximum single-step height is lower, so check which type of threshold a specification refers to before comparing models.
The L40s Ultra’s EasyLeap clears double-layer thresholds up to 1.57 in (and 0.87 in single-step), a big jump over the L40 Ultra’s ~0.86 in spec and most mid-range robots. This gives the L40s Ultra the ability to climb a tiered threshold of up to 39mm.
Dreame’s ProLeap™ system brings the brand’s most dramatic mobility upgrade to the L series, previously seen only on the flagship X50. Using retractable “legs,” the L50 Ultra can climb single vertical steps up to 1.65 in (≈42 mm) and traverse double-layer thresholds up to 2.36 in (≈60 mm), including sliding-door tracks and U-shaped chair bases.
L60 Pro Ultra upgrades to an enhanced ProLeap system capable of crossing thresholds up to 3.46 inches (88mm), the most aggressive obstacle-clearing specification currently listed in the L-series lineup.

Battery Life and Efficiency
Dreame robots generally score well for battery life in our testing, but more features can also mean more energy use. We often see highly featured premium models post lower overall battery efficiency than simpler robots because advanced sensing, obstacle avoidance, mopping systems, and other functions draw additional power. For larger homes or carpet-heavy floor plans, recharge and resume helps offset this by allowing the robot to return to the dock, recharge, and continue an unfinished cleaning run.

Dreame X Series Features
X series Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance
Dreame performs well in our obstacle avoidance tests thanks to a multi-technology approach.
- Sensor Fusion: Combines retracting LiDAR, AI‑driven RGB cameras, and LED illumination to detect even small obstacles in low light.
- Remote Video Monitoring: All X models include live video monitoring, which can be useful for pet owners and security purposes.
X series Mopping
Dreame’s X models all include the MopExtend feature, where one of the mopheads stretches to the side to reach along edges, and RoboSwing, which adds an active swinging motion to the extending mop to effectively scrub under low clearances. All mop heads in the X series detach into the dock for vacuum-only runs.
The X60 Max Ultra Complete uniquely adds warm-water mopping, heating the mop water to 104°F/40°C for better grime dissolving. The X60 Max Ultra also increases mopping performance with more scrubbing pressure and faster pad rotation.
X series brushes
The X30 Ultra uses a fixed side brush as in the D series and most of the L series, but in the X40 Ultra, X40 Master, and X50 Ultra, the extendable, lifting side brush becomes a regular fixture. This extending side brush can reach into corners and lift over obstacles to prevent collisions and tangles.
The X30 Ultra, the X40 Ultra, and the X40 Master use the all rubber floating brush that can be replaced with a TriCut antitangle brush, which must be purchased separately.
With the X50 Ultra and the X60 models, we see the first big change in main brush design in the Dreame lineup with the usage of a DuoBrush, where two brushes spin opposite each other for increased suction, which the X50 Ultra boasts at 20,000Pa and the X60 at 35,000.
The X60 Max Ultra Complete also uses a pressure plate to create a semi-seal on carpets to better concentrate the suction (This feature is not present on the X60 Ultra, and it is one of the main differences between the two variants.).

X series Docks
Dreame’s X series robots with “Ultra” in the name all share basically the same docking features:
- Automatic Detergent Dispensing
- Hot water mop cleaning
- Detachable mopheads
- Auto tank refill
- Washboard cleaning
- Fast Charging
- Smart Dirt Detection
The X60 upgrades the mop washing dock substantially, heating the water to 100°C / 212°F for mop washing, bringing the Aqua 10 family’s boiling water innovation to the X-series.
The “Master” X40 model, however, does not have water tanks in the dock, instead using your home’s plumbing system to manage clean and used water from the robot’s mop. We have been interested in this new trend of plumbing integrated robot vacuums, and we expect to see a lot more of these in the future. If you do not want plumbing integration, you must purchase the X40 Ultra instead of the X40 Master.

X Series Suction
With a greater battery capacity, the X series makes some major increases in suction power, maxing out (for now) with 35,000Pa on the new X60 Ultra.
| Model | Suction |
| X30 Ultra | 8,300Pa |
| X40 Ultra | 12,000Pa |
| X40 Master | 12,000Pa |
| X50 Ultra | 20,000Pa |
| X60 Ultra | 35,000Pa |

X50 Ultra and X60 Max Ultra Complete – New Innovations
The latest X60 Max Ultra Complete flagship model introduces threshold climbing up to 88mm, which is a significant upgrade over the typical 20 mm. This builds on the X50’s industry first threshold climbing of 60mm and allows the Dreame X60 to climb a tiered threshold (think a sliding door track) that would otherwise block the path of a robot vacuum.
The X50 Ultra also sports a retracting LiDAR, which brings the profile of the robot down to 89mm for low clearances, while the X60 shrinks this down even further to Dreame’s slimmest ever profile of 79.5mm.

Aqua10 Series
Update – December 10, 2025
After a pattern of Amazon customer complaints, we’ve removed the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller robot vacuum and mop combo from our Robot Vacuum Top 20 list. Although we didn’t encounter the issue in our lab, multiple users have reported water leaking from the base station. Full Details
Dreame Aqua10 Series Overview
Released in late 2025, the Aqua10 is Dreame’s first lineup with a roller mopping system instead of dual rotary pads. The roller continuously washes with clean water while vacuuming, squeegees dirty water into an on-board dirty water tank, then empties dirty water in the dock. Because dirty liquid is collected onboard instead of remaining in a mop pad, the system can also pick up and process liquid spills rather than simply spreading or absorbing them into the mop. Both Aqua10 models include a full-function PowerDock that automates dustbin emptying, hot-water roller cleaning, and drying. Compared with L/X series rotary mops, Aqua10 aims for deeper, streak-free hard-floor cleaning and stronger hair management, while still protecting carpets.
The Aqua10 series is currently made up of 2 models, the Aqua10 Roller and the more advanced Aqua10 Ultra Roller.

Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller
Vacuum Wars Stars 3.37
The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller introduces its first continuous-clean roller mop: a full-width roller that rinses and squeegees itself as it works. In the ultra version, a counter-rotating accessory roller prevents matting so scrubbing power stays high. Carpet is protected by an AutoSeal guard that covers the roller when the robot senses carpet, and a 14 mm mop lift. The roller also extends to the side for better coverage along walls and in corners. ProLeap suspension lets the robot clear 42 mm single thresholds or 60 mm tiered thresholds. Dreame quotes a headline-grabbing 30,000 Pa suction figure—among the highest yet claimed for any robot vacuum. See additional info

Dreame Aqua10 Roller
The Dreame Aqua10 Roller is a robot vacuum and mop featuring Dreame’s AquaRoll continuous-wash roller mopping system. Dreame lists 30,000 Pa of suction, a HyperStream DuoBrush designed to reduce hair tangles, an AutoSeal roller guard to help keep carpets dry, and FlexRise suspension for crossing taller thresholds. Its PowerDock automates dust emptying, water refilling, roller washing with hot water, and heated-air drying. See additional info
Aqua10 Features
Navigation & Threshold Handling
OmniSight 2.0 sensor fusion with the same auto-retracting LiDAR turret that was first introduced on the X50 Ultra, and uses binocular vision for AI object recognition and avoidance.
For threshold handling, the Aqua10 Roller takes the industry-leading 60mm tiered threshold climbing that was previously released on the X50 Ultra, while the Aqua10 Ultra Roller climbs even higher with tiered thresholds of up to 80mm.
Roller Mopping System
The roller mop design is the headlining feature of the Aqua10 series. The AquaRoll™ mop system continuously sprays fresh water on the roller and extracts dirty water in real time. The roller is 10.4 inches wide and can extend to the side for coverage along edges.
On the Aqua10 Ultra Roller, a counter-spinning FluffRoll™ module spins counter to the roller and helps keep the roller from packing down with use to improve friction and contact with the floor’s surface.

When it’s time to vacuum carpets, the AutoSeal™ roller guard closes over the roller to prevent contact with the carpet fibers, and on the Aqua10 Ultra Roller, the mop also lifts 0.55 in to prevent damp carpets and odors.
Brushes & Hair Management
HyperStream™ detangling DuoBrush main brush system with a 100% hair-detangling claim to reduce maintenance. The Aqua10 models both have an extending side brush for corner reach.
Docking & Automation
The All-in-one Powerdock prioritizes sanitation more than ever with a boiling hot water (212 °F) roller deep clean. The Aqua10 Ultra Roller also boasts a new dual detergent system – one for cleaning solution in the clean water tank, and one solution for odor control in the dirty water tank. Both Aqua10 models include:
- Auto-empty (up to 100 days).
- Hot-air drying.
- Auto-refill of clean water and detergent (dual-detergent support).
- Dirt detection rewash logic.

App, Voice, & Pet Features
You can control the robot through the DreameHome app, with third-party voice assistants such as Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, or by using Dreame’s native “OK Dreame” voice commands. The Aqua10 also highlights pet-friendly features, including “pet vlogs” that record your pet’s day, along with tools that can entertain your pet, clean up after it, and show its location while you’re away.
Suction
Both models list 30,000 Pa Vormax™ suction, the highest in Dreame’s lineup at the time of launch. (Dreame’s previous flagship model, the X50 Ultra, had only 20,000Pa of official suction.)

Matrix10 Series
Dreame Matrix10 Series Overview
Announced alongside Aqua10 in 2025, Matrix10 is Dreame’s most advanced robot to date. Its hallmark is a Multi-Mop Switching Dock that automatically swaps mop types for different zones to reduce cross-contamination and tailor cleaning to floor materials. Matrix10 also boasts the robot vacuum industry’s highest threshold climbing for tiered thresholds of up to 3.15 in (≈80 mm) using retractable legs and adaptive suspension—bridging gaps that stop other robots.

Dreame Matrix10 Ultra
Vacuum Wars Stars 3.63
The Dreame Matrix10 Ultra robot vacuum/mop combo features a multi-mop switching dock with a three-solution compartment, producing up to 30,000 Pa of Vormax™ suction and using HyperStream™ Detangling DuoBrush rollers. It employs OmniSight™ navigation to detect over 240 object types and a ProLeap™ system to overcome obstacles up to 80mm high, while its Dual Flex Arm technology extends side brush and mop into corners. The mop pads self-clean at 212 °F with 20 spray nozzles, and lift 10.5mm on carpets to avoid moisture. Its multifunctional PowerDock™ supports auto-emptying a 3.2 L dust bag for up to 100 days, auto water refill, auto solution refill, mop pad and dust bag drying. It also includes voice control options (“OK Dreame” built-in virtual assistant, Alexa/Siri/Google Home) and Matter protocol smart-home integration. See additional info
Matrix10 Features
Navigation & Obstacle Avoidance
Matrix10 uses Dreame’s OmniSight sensor fusion—combining VersaLift retracting LiDAR with Smart 3DAdapt obstacle avoidance and LED illumination—to maintain low-light accuracy, and it’s rated to recognize and avoid 240+ object types.
The threshold climbing on the Matrix10 is Dreame’s new industry leading level of 80mm (3.15 inches) for tiered thresholds, such as sliding doors and other complex room transitions.
Mopping System
The Matrix10 retains the dual spinning mophead design but adds a twist: the dock stores three mop-pad textures, each optimized for different floor types, and automatically swaps them between rooms. This ensures every surface gets the right pad while minimizing cross-contamination between spaces like bathrooms and the kitchen, and the mops lift over carpet to keep fibers dry.

Brushes & Hair Management
The Matrix10 pairs a HyperStream™ detangling DuoBrush—rated for 100% detangling to minimize hair wrap and maintenance—with an extending side brush that reaches deeper into corners and along edges for more complete coverage.
Docking & Automation
Matrix10’s all-in-one PowerDock is Dreame’s most innovative dock yet, taking sanitation to the next level. Instead of sending one set of pads through your whole house, the dock auto-swaps mop types between rooms, so tile, laminate, and other hard floors each get the right texture and cross-contamination is kept to a minimum. After each run (and even mid-run when needed), the dock performs a boiling-water deep clean at 212 °F that flushes grime from the pads, reducing odors and keeping the mops sanitary for the next zone.
There are compartments for 3 types of solution: floor cleaning and wood cleaning for the clean water tank, and an odor managing solution for the dirty tank.
Beyond mop handling, the dock also automates the routine upkeep that makes the robot truly hands-off:
- Auto-emptying the dustbin
- Self-refill of clean water and solution
- Hot-air drying of the mop pads
- Fast charging between jobs
- Smart dirt detection to trigger targeted re-cleaning

Suction
The Martix10’s Vormax suction has an official rating of 30,000Pa, matching the higher suction numbers on the Aqua10. This is extremely high suction for a robot vacuum.
App, Voice & Pet-Care
Control is straightforward with the DreameHome app, third-party voice assistants (Alexa/Google/Siri), and Dreame’s native “OK Dreame” voice commands. For pet owners, built-in pet-care conveniences streamline fur pickup and trigger odor-management workflows to keep floors and fabrics fresher between deep cleans.
